Well first and foremost - hi, this is my first post lol.

secondly - im hoping this is in the correct spot, its to do with this game at least if not I apologise.

thirdly - ok this is what this darned topic is actually about, ive been playing through FE5 and ive just reached chapter 12 (the one where Marita joins on turn 2) now after killing everyone (although I need to redo it to capture that warrior) i see no visible way of getting Leaf over to the point that needs to be captured, the bridges are out, my knowledge of the japanese language equals nil and I was wondering if any of you had any idea?

Use Karin(Pegasus Knight)and rescue Leaf and carry him over. You could also waste a Warp Staff use. I believe Rescue is the last option when a unit moves.

Can't use a warp staff cos Nanna and/or Saphy's staff skills are to low, Karin is fatigued and I cant take her to the battle.

Use Rivis with a Lockpick to open the bridge. If that fails, there is a Bridge Key you can steal from the units in that chapter.

Hmm as I recall, there's an enemy with a bridge key in that map. You can capture him and take his take.

i am not sure what chapter i am on...
it is the chapter after you get those to archer knights and lance knights...

Il'l say it now : your screwed! Having no staff user at A Rank means youl'l have things stolen off you in 12 Gaiden with there being nothing you can do about it! (Not only that but a useful staff gets broken because of it). You would need to use the warp staff to warp a theif over to steal the annoying staff (or recruit Parm and do it...)

But yeah the open the bridge use bridge keys (the green ones). Also if you rescued all the Children in 11 Gaiden have Olwen vist the house Mareeta comes out of for a Magic Ring (NOTE: OLWEN ONLY else youl'l get medicine). Remember to capture Salem (the person using the sleep staff on the objective).

Beat this chapter within 20 Turns to go to 12 Gaiden (where you can recruit 3 characters and get one classed changed to a rare but useful class). Gamers going for the elusive AAA Rank (I belive the SSS rank is impossible!) beat this map in just 2 Turns.

leo_dragon_knight, this map is easy to identify. Its the only non-gaiden "fog of war" map

It's somewhere in the manster levels I think.
I dont like Saphy or Nanna so I just make the earlier levels a bit easier and burn off their good weapons. You basically *must* use saphy though, because having a good stave user in the early levels is a must (your only other alternative is a promoted Asvel)
