Maybe Aika stole the gun from Gilder? She could have easily sweet-talked him out of it. Like Sain, girls are his biggest weakness.

Makes sense. He seems to have an extra one for the gunslinger attack, anyway. I'm at Ramirez...with any luck, tomorrow he goes down...and whoever dares challenge me afterwards. Let there be ship battles! This is their last chance for them to stain my perfect ship battle record! I hope if there is one, it's hard. No spoilers, please, but about how long does it take to beat the game, starting from Ramirez?

Hmm...if its the first encounter with Ramirez.....you've got about 4 more encounters with him to go I think...

What's more important to me is how long these encounters will take. I'm only allowed on the gamecube half an hour at a time, so I need to know if it's worth it trying to beat it at home.

Well you can skip the Ramirez battles....
Its just best to do it...
It'll save you items, health, humiliation, time and effort.
You are no match for Ramirez at the moment trust me.

Oh...well in that case your in for one hell of a long battle.....
Ramirez's fight is divided into 3 battles...
-First battle you just fight Ramirez normal becareful of his techs he's incredibly diverse.
-Second battle he'll sacrifice himself to the Silver Gigas and you'll fight it in a ship battle. This is one hell of a long battle because Delphinus maybe strong but this guy has insane HP and some isnanely powerful attacks.
-Third battle seems the Gigas didn't fully digest Ramirez and he's now fused with the Gigas and comes back for one more fight. The main problem is he has a tech in this fight which turns your own guys against you.
So generally its one incredibly long gauntlet.

Um, that's a bit spoiler-y. I tested Ramirez stage 1 for a couple of rounds before I had to get off and with increm and pirate's wrath the battle shouldn't drag on too long.

The first stage of the Ramirez battle is quite easy. Almost disappointingly so. (If your characters were level 40 or above when he attacked Crescent Isle, you know you're up to par) Whatever you do, though, DON'T take Drachma with you, because in the third stage he'll be sure to use Drachma AGAINST you and...it hurts. It won't take you long at all to beat the first stage, but the second stage takes forever...think Blueheim (the longest Gigas battle by far) times two. Or three. The third stage is somewhere inbetween the two...all in all it takes more than half an hour to defeat him, to be sure.
