Warp your strongest character over and hope for the best....>_>
In my case it was Asvel with Grafcalibur and also a Sunlight Hit. Or you can just wait till Cyas decides to leave.

Sety, a question about your strategy. Why warp somebody? Where do you warp them? Does warping someone near Cyas cause him to leave? I always use the strategy of sticking together and waiting for them to finish with their annoying staffs.

That's one way to do it. When I want to do it fast, I just slap Othin right near Cyas, and he just kinda tears everything around him apart. Oh, and be sure to have a Libro Staff.

TF: Well actually yes it does...
If you can land somebody near Cyas and slap at least one hit on him he'll leave on your next turn.
But the problem is that Reinhardt's goons are still around and they still have a 10 star bonus from the 2 bosses left and usually it ends up with me getting killed before Cyas leaves. So usually I slap Mareeta with a Fire Sword or Asvel up in the trees behind the castle so they get a bonus from the tress and hope they just at least survive and land a hit on Cyas getting him out of the way in 2 turns, sunlight hit for some extra fortification. Othin is strong but he can't dodge well and gets killed easily surprisingly.
The only problem is it usually ends up with them being put to sleep other times he won't.

Hmm . . . for me, he always turns out to be fast, strong, and able to evade well.

Ah, that's a very interesting tactic. I never knew about that. Well I guess I can always send someone to take a whack at Cyas and right away rescue that person on the same turn, would that work? Or do you have to be near Cyas in order to make him leave?

I already said all you ahve to do is lay one hit on him and he'll leave after the enemy turn is over.
But the main problem is surviving for that one turn, Cyas 15 star leadership bonus is still in effect since he doesn't leave immediately and only after the turn plus since the total is a 25 leadership bonus he gets an insane dodge bonus added with his alreayd great speed.
I mean come on...I once only layed one hit on him even when Mareeta's rapid hit activated on him. Thats like 1 hit out of 11 attacks luckily Cyas's attacks are easy enough to dodge.
And you'll have to test rescuing yourself because everytime I get there, Salem still hasn't gotten his Staff skill high enough to use rescue and also I only have Sleuf as my staff user since Salem or Sleuf is usually tired and benched (I save my Strength bags for saving Everyle because I overuse my characters like crazy on that) so I've never tried it.

Man, by chapter 22, I usually have a few people with A in staff. Safy and Tina comes to mind. As I recall class changing boosts your staff level by one so it should be hard for your healers.

I rarely use Saphy and Tina though.....a unit who can't fight just doesn't cut it for me in FE5 and Linoan and Salem are as good a stave user as any.
And at least Sleuf has his godly stats and also pretty good level when he joins and can use all the high level staves for heavy experience plus has slightly more HP.
Tina is like a one level use and she just drops dead same with Saphy....

Safy's your main healer throughout most of the early chapters of the game. How can you fight without a healer?

Easy...
I just do.... Medicine Bags does a better job since they don't miss and gives me an extra slot for carnage.

Hey. Everybody could use my strategy, and make the level extremely easy (I'm beating it now). Simply level every character you have up to the maximum level possible (Dagudar is the exception of course) before this chapter, especially Carrion and Robert, and then just make a front. Sit there, and nothing will touch you. It takes an extremely long time to level that many people, but seeing this level become easy is really fun. ;D

LIKE WE DIDN'T KNOW THAT! *sarcasm* I don't know about you but thats only if you absolutely can't do it you do that. And besides, you can't max everyones levels by then the way Thracia 776 is made you can't do that if you're playing properly except maybe if your using Elite mode.
