Does anyone know how much % extra damage is dealt when there is a critical hit? Like,if a character does 7 damage to the enemy they do 39 damage on a critical... And if another character does -11 damage(Leidrick)they do 4 damage on a critical. And another,if someone does 1 damage, they do 27 damage on a critical... I really want to know,it's kind of interesting. Maybe it has to do with the character and not the damage?

It's the same with every Fire Emblem. A critical does 3x the regular damage. If you can do 3 damage, then a critical would do 9 HP of damage.

As far as I remember, FE4, FE5 and FE6 critical effects are different. FE4's doubles base attack. FE6's multiplies damage, so damage 0 = critical 0. I remember that in FE5, characters that done no damage on normal hits could on criticals...

Bah,nevermind. The critical damage is the same as it is in FE4. The attack power is doubled on the hit.

Are you sure it's doubled? I could have sworn it was tripple with every game. In Thracia 776 if you do 0 damage you do 0 during a critical as well. I can confirm that 100%. I've had Tanya critical the first boss and did 0 damage.

I've had Tanya critical the first boss and did 0 damage. Well, I decided to check FE5 out. Truly, she does no damage on criticals, against that boss. My memory was defective. So, once again, FE4 has a different system for something. In FE4, I saw this situation: Tinny with Inori no Ken (atk power 25). She was attacked by a duke knight (hp 61, def 14), and reduced to less than half of her hp, thus activating Ikari skill. On her first attack (critical), she reduced her foe to 25 hp, thus dealing 36 damage points. What is exactly [(25x2)-14]. If it did riple the usual damage, it'd be 33. Seisen no Keifu is truly one-of-a-kind.

Here,I'll make some screenshots of Malitia fighting Leidrick. As you can see from the first picture,Malitia does 15 damage, and Leidrick has 26 defense,so she does no damage. But here, when she does a critical, her attack doubles to 30,so she does 4 damage. Now,she activates Moonlight Hit. She does exactly 30 damage,so that means attack power doubles on a critical. If you would like a savestate of this battle just tell me.

Oh ok, I guess it's doubled then. All I care was that as long as they critical you know it'll do massive damage.

Ah, now I remember why Tanya couldn't deal damage. Her attack power was 10, at first. The boss' def. was 11, plus 10 of the "castle". That's 21, higher than Tanya's double atk power.
Not always critical is massive damage. 4 isn't massive for me. =P

For Malitia though, there's a high chance that she would activate Starlight Hit,so she would attack 10 times with her sword. I have a cool savestate with that.
