I've only played a bit of FE5 but one time with my someone, I think it was a Swordmaster or something, after I hit 'End' something happened and they were able to move again.
And once instead of attacking I see them move really quickly back and forth with the enemy in between. What skill was this? Or was is a different critical animation?

There are various critical animations in FE4/5. That's one of them.
However, unlike FE6/7, it's not that each class has its own critical animation. There are some critical "sets" (For example, Lords and unmounted knights share the same critical moves), and each of them has one or more different animation sequences.
The "move again" thing is a special feature of FE5. In the character status screen, hit down. There, the third entry commands this extra movement thing: each star means 10% of chance of one (and only one) extra action.
Beware, though, if you plan to play it again. That blonde swordmaster is a Jeigan. =P

I had the feeling it was the Jeigan. I'll be sure not to use them too much in future.

"The"? Wrong. The warrior that joins in turn 3 is a Jeigan as well.
One was just not enough. =P

Hm, that was who I thought it was at first...But argh. It's been awhile since I've played it and I didn't get to far. Chapter 3 or so.
Heck I'm still one Chapter one of FE4. I just checked it, I seem to have lost my mage at one point...

Nice, Starwolf. I never noticed them before. I assume that they're the reasons for the holes in the bitwise skills, then? That makes a bit more sense, then... [edit] Yeah, they match up perfectly with the holes, if you include the class skills as well. Regarding Pursuit and Continue... I believe that one of them activates depending on speed, and the other one activates depending on weapon weight. I'm not sure on them, though. I tried giving class skills as personal skills but they didn't work out. For Example giving Sigurd Big Shield, Dance and Steal. They didn't show up and didn't work. I geuss the otherway round wouldn't work either. It may be possible Grid was a class skill so thats why I couldn't get it to work (and I wanted ordinary men to walk through rivers and Castles?). Continue has an ativation of (Weapon speed+20)%. Weapon speed being speed stat-weapons weight and 20 being an integer (i.e a whole number). Thats why Cuan never activates it but Levin with Holsety does a hack of a lot. Pursuit I belive follows the same rules as a second attack does in any other fire emblem. Still, would appear return is a personal skill (and an invible one at that!). Wonder if its inherited? *Adds "can return be inherited" to list of things to do*

I geuss the otherway round wouldn't work either. You mean, personal into class skill? Maybe it does. Renzoku is a Sage class skill, as Charisma is an Emperor class skill, you see...

That's Galzus. If you don't kill him, you can recruit him with Mareeta by the end of the game. He's got Ryuuseiken (5 hit) and Gekkouken (ignores defense). ok so i can't read japanese, so sue me...

EDIT: Edited my first post. 'Hope you don't mind the description stealing. Not at all "~^ At the time I wrote the Skill description, I forgot how exactly it looked like, and I couldn't go and check on my game (and I forgot to go to my site and see the Skill section, baka me !!), so I missed the down-pointing arrow...
