I wonder if a Super Robot Wars-like spirit system would work in FE... I mean... SRW copied FE's skill system... so why can't FE copy SRW's spirit system? ;D
The spirit system are some special habilities that use spirit points and last one turn(usually). Some of those habilities are: double damage for next attack(Hot Blood); Auto dodge next attack(Flash); one fourth of damage during one turn (Iron Wall[or Iron Will, can't remember which one])... I think that could work well in a FE game.

so we could call it something else. and it wouldn't necessarily have to limit the ammount of characters because the gamecube has better programming capabilities. also, I didn't mean 1 for each weapon I mean different ones for the same weapon. think about it, the way you weild a sword cahnges your fighting style a bit. you can always learn a better way to hold you sword.

ok your obviousely not understanding me.
heres the deal. I'm saying they should let people learn different ways to attack with thier weapon each yeilding different ways of attack. this can work on any class. I'm saying that each class should be able to learn different ways to use the swame weapon without promoting, and promoted classes would learn thier own ways to use their weapons as well. this will open up a whole new strategy with skill to weapon combos. think of iot like this. say you have an accurate low damage style of attack and a less accurate high damage one. take a heavy weapon like hammer. it already has hgh attack so a good style to use with it would be the accurate low attack one because the gih mt of the weapon makes up for the lack of powr you swing it with.
