Kidou Senshi Gundam: Meguriai Sora (On PS2)
An absolutely brilliant game. This time the battles take place in space, (with some sort of macross feel...) but it is a sequel to that gundam game Bundai released several years ago.
Any gundam fan here?

Im a big gundam fan. This is the one that's supposed to be a sequal to Journey to Jaburo right? I loved that game I just wish it went farther. The best part was the storyline. That part of the game was very well done.

I'm not a big Gundam fan. My friend (who is) would say the same thing as you said Luca, but the fact is... they ain't playin' Gundam Wing or Endless Waltz around here anymore... the closest thing is SD Gundam...
In anycase, I dunno why I liked 08th MS Team... I have a strange taste in animes I guess...

I'm a huge fan of Gundam. I luuuuuved the original 0079, as well as 08th MS team, Gundam 0080, Char's Counterattack, and more! I though GW was pretty cool, and that G Gundam was so frickin' insane it's funny, but my tastes lie closer to the U.C chronology than anywhere else  |

Yes, that's the sequel to "Journey to Jaburo". But this time you're in space, and there are side-story, ace pilots modes and more.
In Ace Pilot mode, you have different ace pilot to unlock and choose from, Gato, Char, etc and you play their own storylines.
I would consider myself as a gundam fan as well...0079, 0080, 0083, 08 MS Team, 08 MS Team: Miller's report, Char's counterattack, F91, Zeta, Double Zeta, Wing, Endless Waltz, X...(looking at the shelf next to me...)
My favor would be 0079, 0083, 08 MS, and Zeta Gundam. (0080 is too sad...wel, all these are sad, but...0080 is ultra sad.)

try wing or endless waltz I looked at this thread again, and I wonder... What do people like about Gundam Wing? I mean, it is an OKAY gundam series, but some people are treating it as THE gundam series. First of all...let's look at the Giant Robots. That's the whole point of Gundams, right? (Well, no, but whatever.) 5 invicible gundams OMG KEWL!!!1 Sure they are invicible...actually no. They are invicible only when those 5 characters pilot them. For instance, Deathscythe was destroyed in one hit. That makes perfect sense... (comparing to other series, where Gundams actually take damage in battle...) Oh, and Leo sucks as a basic OZ unit. Completely. The characters... Heero. "I'll kill you." (And he didn't really kill anyone. ) "Mission complete." (Then he self-destruct. Yet, he survived the explosion, and the gundam was brought back. Mission failed.) Duo. Just a usual Optimistic kid who was raised by Priest. Trowa. A common Quiet guy. Quatre. A guy who blame everything onto himself. Please, you aren't even capable of doing all those if you've tried. Stop blaming yourself, it's annoying. Wu Fei. YOURWEAKYOUDIE0WN3D!!!1 Nion. Wu Fei killed all my men, I'll let him live! Zechs. ARGH. DO YOU SEE CHAR AZNABLE? A man who wants to be Heero's arch enemy, has a different identity, seeking for revenge inside of him, has a sister who's on the opposing force? AND WHERE DID YOU GET THE MASK LOL??? The list goes on forever. |

Trying to emulate Char, and doing a horrible job of it. At least Kruuze (SEED) is smart.
The enemy MS. What, does it blow up when it gets touched or something?
Impossible odds. A hundred MS shooting 5 MS should have some sort of a chance.
Failure to communicate emotion. Emotion? What is that?
Storyline. Trying to fit THREE FREAKING LONG SERIES + MOVIE into a 49-ep series is generally NOT a good idea.
Dubbing. My ears! My poor ears!
Nameless, faceless, emotionless grunt units who would get blown up by the GW boys anyway.
GW boys. DIE ALREADY!
At least G-Gundam succeeded on doing it’s purpose: ripping off many of the giant robot cliches.
Ah, to topic:
I generally suck at those games, because I can’t aim.... Boo.

Actually, Wing was the first one to take such a sharp turn away from the traditional Gundam formula, if I'm not mistaken. So the question should really be reversed to what is Wing doing posing as a Gundam show?
