Gamecube all the way, the graphics are much better than the PS2 and the Xbox combined. Actually, XBOX has the best graphics, followed by GCN, and the PS2 in dead last.

Eh, it depends on the game. Having played just about every sports game on earth, the Gamecube is capable of pumping out some very good graphics, sometimes even eclipsing the XBox.

I have to say GCN, not only because it is the only one I have, but it is the only one which has games I'm interested in right now (Unless you count Phantasy Star 1 on the PS2 (Dang!)) and plus I like the controllers.

The GCN is my favourite of the three. Games: Games I want are on it. There are no games I want (or can't do without) on the others. Controller: Is nice.... the PS2 controller hurts my hands. Haven't used an XBox enough to have an opinion on either of its controllers. Onlinity: Is not present, which is good, since I don't have to worry about missing out on anything since Telstra is evil and won't allow people here to get broadband. Extras (ie: CD player, etc): Are not present. This is a good thing. I don't want a toaster I can shave with - why would I want a console I can play music on? That's what my stereo is for.

meh, who needs a dvd player on your game system...uh, hello? that's what a DVD player is FOR. To play dvds.
yeah, I voted GC. FE will most likely come to GC if it does come to a non-portable console. Plus it has a lot of cool games like MK and such.

I have to agree with Iris. My PS2 was my sole DVD player when I was in the Navy, due to space constraints.

Okay, okay, let's not turn this thread into a war between the older and the younger FESSers.

...I've never pressed the wrong button on a Dual Shock, despite the fact that they're all the same size. If you know where the buttons are, it's a nonissue. I don't know why but I laughed when I read that... Personally I've never pressed the wrong button... unless when I'm playing Pop'n Music. But I DO play my DVD on my PS2, it is an extra for some people, and it is a nifty feature. I've never thought of buying a DVD player... if I have the extra money, I'd rather save up for a laptop. I won't go to the "I can crack someone's head open with a GameCube without damaging the cube," though it is true, and you cannot do that with a PS2. I voted for PS2 because I like the games. ...I'm getting Sangoku Musou: Empires soon.
