See, this is why I like Photoshop so much for animating. XD 7.0 doesn't let you, but Elements is nice and does...using the hide layer/show layer helps A LOT in aligning the sprites, and if you have a way to do it...by God, DO IT. XP
How much time do you spend on these?
Try to isolate the sprites when you use them, I've noticed some other pieces of sprite on some of the frames on yours, and that doesn't look very good. ^^;

The best programs for making GIFs is MSPaint + Animagic GIF/GIF Movie Gear...
GIF Movie Gear is tons better than Animagic,but Animagic is free.
Here's a tip,you should make a transparent background so it doesn't look so shaky...and also for the animations of single sprites you should double check to make sure every sprite would fit in all of the frames.
It's a pretty good start. ;D Soon you'll be able to make animations like the one in my sig!

The animation looks pretty good but it moves a little bit up and then down again.

OK, this is what I want, since I'm not a spritemaker: see that stickied thread at the top of this board, that is titled "tools to help with making sprites"? Take all your knowledge, all the programs you all use, and POST IT THERE. I didn't make that thread sticky because I wanted to flex my new mod powers.
