Well i retry the game on cartrige and the things is , i'm trying to get Deu with Briget together, on my new game. but it seem to be taking to long. I let them close to each other for 340 turns plus other chapters together = 500 in total and it just taking to long . Just how long does it take for them to be lovers anyways?

Just how long does it take for them to be lovers anyways? well it helps if on the ice map the two be next to each other adn kill off things and really i just powerlevel beo to pass the time i easily get them together by he decent |

It's strange but sometimes you have t move onto the next chapter in order for them to fall in love. I was going crazy trying to pair up Jamuka and Bridget once and I finally gave up and went on t chapter 5. Within a few turns they quickly pairied up.

Well it's acting strange but i'm in chapter 5 will all the enemies killed. by the thing they're just not falling in love for some strange reason. I let them there sit together for 346 turns and nothing is happening.
Well they're aren't a predestined pari , but isn't 346 turns rather long?

Deu/Briddgit is a hard pair to do, but not impossible  . Here's a few tips that can help you : - Make sure Deu is promoted at Chapter 4, and has the Wind Sword he gets in Chapter 3. - Make Deu and Briddgit fight together A LOT, especially against the Pegasus Knights' squads. For this, make one of the two attack (with a bow for Briddgit, with the Wind Magic of the Wind Sword with Deu) NEXT to the other, then place the other next the first one and make him attack. This way, you'll collect a nice score of love points (making potentiel lovers attack an enemy increases love level, if you make sure the two attacks in nearly each turn, it helps a LOT) - Whenever possible, make sure Deu gives his money to Briddgit. In order to do this often, it's recommended that Deu gives numerous littles sums, instead of one only big sum. - AND DON'T FORGET, you only can increases love level between lovers in the 50 FIRST TURNS. So, in order beginning their love relation in Chapter 3 (and thus increasing your chances of succeding), you really have to rush in the first part of this chapter, for making appear Briddgit the sooner possible. As for me, I usually conquer Silvail in the 30th turn, and Briddgit and Deu joins together at around turn 35-40. Don't forget to do some Boss Levelling on Pisar, the Boss of Orgahill with Briddgit with Deu next to her the few turns remaining before Turn 50 ! - And, at Chapter 5, make sure to beat the Axe Knight, but NOT its leader (Sleider) : this way, he'll go back to his castle and bring some more troops, helping you making the couple by having them fight together. Hope it'll help you ! doubt the first 50 turns i treid on the 61 turn adn had it around the 400 so taht not exactly right |

No.
After trying it, I'm sure love levels cannot be increased after turn 50 of each Chapter.
Believe me, my pairings would be done at the end of the chapter I begin to do the couple, since I usually do a lot of Boss Levelling (meaning I usually finish each Chapter -there's some exceptions- after 500 to 700 turns), and letting the couples together during the process.
Best proof for this, I tried to go to the fortune-teller after 700 turns of coupling -and before I went to at turn 40-50-, result : the love level is the same than at turn 40-50.
But it would be nice if a specialist on the technical aspects of this game can confirm how the love system works... Is there one here ?
