Plus you don't get the real ending if you don't find all the gaiden chapters. Take a look at the picture, the are a few items that are worth your time... actually I think only the Sliver Broadsword is the only thing not worth your time, everything else is worth it.

Yeah I know that, but I have killed Douglas so I can't have the Gaiden chapter, so I can't have the real ending........ (but it's the first time I play a FE and a RPG of my life, so......)

I always kill Douglas for a laugh first time with Sophia and than replay the chapter seriously.

Why is it funny to kill him Sofia? I'm just curious doesn't killing him with Fa be just as funny? Or with Roy?

Its funnier with Sophia because...
a) Theres nothing funny about the big Bluto lookalike being beaten by the prince
b) Fa is a bloody Dragon.....I'd be more surprised if he could survive a hit from her
c) Sophia at that point is pretty weak and very cute and its always funnier to slaughter strong characters with weaker ones

It is funnier to kill entire legions with the great Dieke (just awesome style) and his good fellow Rutoga (with a killer his sword 71% of critical makes me crazy), haaaaa

Nah, I did that with Fir. Except her criticals as a swordmaster reached 80-someodd per cent.

Rutger's funner, Lillina is somewhat of a cannon fodder and Fir lacks a bit of strength and def.

My Fir almost maxed out anyway. ;)
Lacking in defense? She avoids pretty much everything except Mamkutes. Which doesn't matter anyway if she has a dragon killer.#nosmileys

You missed the ring? That ring allows your mages to class change. I wouldn't worry too much. There' gonna be a stage where you can buy tons of class change items in 2 or 3 chapters later.
