Well Rath actually lacks in defense and luck even Rebecca beats him in defense and speed.
Rebecca is more all-round goodness plus the high luck and speed. Rath just has the high movement and sword going for him while Rebecca has stats.

Rath is stronger.. and I've NEVER had Rebecca with good defense. Rath's was always the highest for me... and he matched Rebecca in speed too. =P
