Yes, you have to beat the game 8 times...
But I think you may have to keep one of the save files as an ending one. I'm not entirely sure though...
If it's available... cheat! With a beefed-up Roy and infinite moves, the game goes by pretty quick =D

Hopefully I got all those right. They're not in any specific order... but I believe the bottom ones are for infinite item uses. Sorry, I don't know where the infinite moves one is =( I think it might be the one with the value of "ffff," but I'm not sure.
For those who don't care, the above codes I believe are for Codebreaker... they'll give Roy infinite uses on ALL of your items (there'll be invalid Iron Swords where there aren't items though =( ), really good (but not perfect) stats, infinite moves, and an S ranking in every weapon... which ruins the battle animations, but Roy will be able to use ANY weapon =) This makes beating the game really easy =D
