Would really be nice if this game came out in the U.S.
Lots of people seem really optimistic about this game's chances due to that cliff-hangerish ending in the U.S. FE7

You know, you guys are over doing it with the flamming. You could easily explain the reason without flamming or making a big fuss over a little thing. His question can easily be answered. It is almost a sure thing. At the end of FE7, it practically says that FE6 is coming out. If anyone wants to argue, feel free. You know why that ending was there? That's because the ending was also in the Japanese version. It wouldn't make sense in the story if everyone lived happily ever after. The fans in Japan knows this game is actually a prequal. |

now seriously, why do you guys think they released fe 7 here? was it...
A: they wanted amercians to play a hard game
B: they wanted to laugh at americans because they suck at playing hard games
or
C: THEY WANTED TO INTRODUCE FE TO US!!!
seriously, thats why. It made allot of money in japan so they figured they'd make allot of money here too. now why 7? why not 6? it came first in japan. and plus we were already familiar with roy. the reason they gave us 7 first was to introduce us to fe 6. it only makes sense that they'd give us six as it tells what happens after fe 7. 7 was brought here to test the market and to see if people liked it. WELL THEY DID!!!! you think that nintendo america would just walk away from a gold mine in their current financial state?

Aha. But the next one they bring out here doesn't have to be FE6. We might get FE8.
For one thing, FE6 is BACKWARD compared to FE7's system tweaks. Aside from the AI, anyway. There's a lot of people who doesn't know that FE6 was made before FE7, and they'd think the game was rushed, and stuff like that.
And you know? One of the reasons they bring FE out here is because fans---in those days, watching the official polls is intriguing---clamored for it. They didn't clamor for Roy. Just FE.
EDIT : By the way, cussing is considered bad procedure here. We prefer nice discussions, which might get heated, but flames are frowned upon. And so---don't try to give more points to your argument by saying we can cuss you, please.

ok, you can't cuss at me. but still, I think if they wanted to introduce fe to us they woul have started with 6 unless they wanted to bring 6 out but 7 first so that we'd know the back story. now, maybe when they bring fe6 here they'll change many of the bad parts. they did that with many translated games. plus that'll make the game more interesting for those who played the japanese version. what I'm saying is that I really doubt they'd give us a game that ends in a cliff hanger without showing us the "pre" sequell. if they just gave us 8 now we'd be all, ok what aobut eliwoods son and hectors daughter?and I thought zepheil turned bad. aren't they gonna tell us about that?
all in all, it's more than possible they'll bring 6 here.

personally, I think they could keep it mainly the same.
Just make the faces animated while talking, and give Roy abit more of a personality (just tweaking dialogue)
