I,Personally,think it MIGHT happen...but i heavily doubt any changes will be made.My biggest reason for believing this is
1.It was already out in Japan,what will the jap. fans be thinking if they get a worse version of fire emblem than another country?
2......well....um.....nothing else sorry.
I just wanted to state that fact.I've read alot of threads talking about this and i havn't seen this in any discussion.I dont think it will happen because when japanese people find out they will be mad because they cant play this better version in their lanquage,and even if they get the game the people who bought the original would be mad because if they wanted the good version they would of course,BUY IT.In other words meaning they'd buy the game twice.

And my greatest reason to think that it may be otherwise is:
Japanese FE7 has an 'extra' option that displays a FE6 screen (I may post a screenshot later, I'm short of time right now). The ocidental version doesn't, as far I know.

No it doesn't. Yes TheEnd I know what you're talking about... You get some songs, and maybe some CGs of Roy, and Lilina. I'll have to check on it again.
And the American version of FE: Rekka no Ken does not come with a Fire Emblem: Fuuin no Tsurugi link up. I tried to link my friends American FE7 with my imported FE6 and it doesnt do anything =P.

ok maybe they won't cahnge it but it's still very possible they'll release it here because frankly, I don't care how muh the game sucks I'll play it just for the storyline!

Read more carefully. From the article: "It is the first Fire Emblem title to be released in North America." They decided to release Rekka no Ken instead. Those news are from 04.12.2002. |

It would be in NoA's best interest to release it here, but I'm highly skeptical of a North American release. It would have been so much simpler if the first game WAS FE6, but it's a little too late for that now.
