Some of you know this from the FE LJ community, or from hearing me bitch about Japanese grammar on AIM or whatever. But if you don't know...
Well, I'm trying to get the Osawa version of the FE4 manga translated. As in, the entire first gen. (The second generation...we'll see. Much less likely, though, as I have far more love for the first set of characters.)
If I later manage to either get second copies of the manga, or find someone who can provide scans, this may become a full-blown scanlation project and not just text-only translations. However, getting the necessary copies is going to take a while unless I'm extremely lucky, so don't hold your breath. (I'm not scanning my primary copies because that would kill the bindings, and I'm a bit too fond of them. If there's anyone out there who doesn't have the same reservations about hurting their books, though...)
If I do start on scanlating, you guys will probably be the first to know, since I don't have a particularly good graphics program and I'd rather turn over the graphics editing to someone else anyway. (Time spent editing = time spent not translating, and translation is a slow enough process as it is.)
There's not much up yet, but I've got more in my Holy Notebook, waiting to be written into a better script and coded up for posting. I've been going out of order and hitting the scenes that interest me most, but I may soon go back to volume one and just start going in order.
And I've just realized I'm way too long-winded, so here's the link.
