hey i know roms are illegal if you dont own the cartrige and stuff but why would there be a site??
i was wondering does anyone know where to find a site that has a list of F E games starting from 1 and ending with sealed sword??

Well... there's this thing called IRC. and on a channel on IRC. trying using that sometime. And sorry. I cannot give out anymore information for finding roms. they are like you said. Just try searching for them their not that fhard to find.

Yeah just type Fire Emblem rom on Yahoo and you shouldn't have much trouble. The GBA ones are hard to find though.

Yeah they're illegal but i really hate to leave people hanging so, if your looking for roms (snes) then remember www.cherryroms.com you need to sign in though. Just remember that site and you'd be fine. Ah... if you guys think i should edit this post then do say so... (or mod t yourself  ) |

If you need any more ROMs, just tell me which ones you need. I have underground resources... I mean, I have every FE game on my PC right now!
(Yes, I realize ROMs are illegal, but I wouldn't know squat about FE if it weren't for them...)

Can I just say something a little unrelated here? First, ROM talk isn't that much of a taboo here. I mean, a few days before FE7 was released, we all were talking about where to get the ROM and such.
Second, here's my opinion on NES/SNES Roms. Nintendo doesn't really profit off of them anymore, because usually when you buy an NES/SNES game, it's from GameStop (or whatever) or from a garage sale. So emulation is allowed for systems like that. However, I don't use GBA Roms, since companies still profit.
Fire Emblem Roms don't apply to that though. ^^ Nor does Tactics Ogre. ^^
BTW, if anyone wants any FE Rom, just IM me. I have them all.

Actually, Roms are still illegal even if you do own the cartrige "WARNING: Copying of any Nintendo game is illegal and is stritctly prohbited by domestic and international copuright laws. "Back-up" or "archival" copies are not authorized and are not necessary to protect your software. Violators will be prosecuted." Now, I am going to pretend that I didn't know that Nintendo prints those warnings in their booklets (just like the part about scanning pics out of them also) The www.cherryroms.com site is down, can you guys email the roms to me? I don't really see why emulation is illegal if you own the games. You paid your money already... so what's the problem? And I agree with the NES/SNES ROM thing that Adilink said... I still do have some GBA ROMs (other than FE ones), but they're either in Japanese or I tried them out to see if I wanted to buy the cartridge (since you can't rent GBA games).
If you need FE ROMs, don't forget about me... I got all of them too (even FE6 and 7). The sites I go to also have just about anything else you'd be looking for. I'm not gonna post them here though... you never know when some kind of anti-pirating wierdo will show up and report the site. So, just E-Mail me or tell me to send you the sites through PM.

Well... yeah, Blockbuster DOES rent out games, but the closest one to me is in the neighboring county. And well, I'd rather take 20 minutes to download it than 40 minutes driving there and back...

Let me put it this way, just cause you have the rom doesn't mean you won't buy the game. I have the roms of games I buy too. First of all it's good for making my site, and second of all, I'm just weird that way.
