Don't call Alvis an asshole. T_T He was a true warrior and fought for the good of the people-- or atleast that's what he believed, Manfroy took advantage of that and lead him on the wrong path. Alvis was honorable to the very end, his actions were completely justified... He was just manipulated, but he was a true hero.
Travant and Arion might get replacements.
Lord Sigurd - I'll find a part for you, man, wait up on it.

While looking from Siggy's point of view, he stole Diadora. From Alvis's point of view, she's his one true love that finally comes into his life. I think he really believed Manfroy's version of everything, including Siggy's betrayal.
Look at how regret lined his face in second gen. That's not something you'd see on Blume, no?

Sigurd was seen as a traitor because he took the Prince of Isaac under his wing and I think Manfroy & Alvis saw him as a being a future threat to their plans, so that's why they took him out. Manfroy convinced Alvis that Sigurd had to die for the pursuit of world peace or something.

Huh? This is their main accusation against Sigurd, the fact that he was with the prince of Isaac was just a "proof" of the crime...
This is from chapter 3, after you take over Orgahill.
Rangobalt: Alright, send a message to the troops, go capture the traitor Sigurd and his followings. They are in conspiracy with Byron, have killed Prince Kurt and want to take over the entire Kingdom.
