Live action DBZ

wellz... ive heard of this for some time now.. apparently (or so i hear) Fox or some1 bought a contract to make live action dragonball z movies. I dunno whos gonna be in it or wut.. but does anyone have details?

They haven't said a whole lot about the live action movie... but it seems like it's gonna be really strange. Being a huge DB/Z fan myself, I'll probably end up watching it just to see how horrible it is.

I heard that some new actor is playing Piccolo. I saw a pic of him in costume once, and he looked kinda scary. =O Sorry, I don't remember where it was exactly...

Oh, and I heard they're going to try and get Bill Goldberg (if you don't know him, he's a wrestler formorly in WCW, but is not in the WWE) as Nappa! XD

I think Jackie Chan wasn't going to be in the movie. Jet Li was going to play as Vegeta. The Rock was going to play Cell. Leo whatevero as Trunks. I really don't know. I don't know any sites either.

If a movie does come out, I'll be laughing my head off... seeing how horrid it is.

WTF!? How could the Rock be Cell? Well, I suppose they look a LITTLE bit alike, but I don't think the Rock has the right voice for Cell.

I'm not sure if Jet Li was actually going to be Vegeta... I thought that's just who the fans wanted. They had a poll somewhere (I think on the "official" site) that asked who should play a certain character, and I think Jet Li won for Vegeta.

All I know is... this movie's gonna be a laugh riot because of its sheer stupidity XD

i wouldnt vote it out yet.. u never know... it could be cool.. maybe... i think tho. that they shouldnt have big name stars for the actors.. cuz then u see them as jet li or jacky chan.. not as vegita or goku or w/e

Like I mentioned before... it's said that some new actor is playing Piccolo, so if that holds true... not ALL of them will be big name actors.

I heard some actor named Robin Shou was going to be Goku, on the other hand, that was a loooooong time ago.

That is a very true point... however, I don't think the fans are choosing the actors. The polls were just for fun. =)

Perhaps we should be grateful the fans aren't choosing the actors... many of the American fans haven't seen the Japanese version, only the FUNi dubs... so they'd either base their choices either by what FUNi presented or by who the most popular actors are most likely...
