This is a bit unbelievable but my Yuria took down Arion with 1 hit! (I think...yeah I think I got berserk with Lightining?)
Sety couldn't really hit Arion on that file because his father was weird or something...

Good point I must be mistaken. Yes she must have finished him off but she dealt quite a lot of damage may I say. Sety and Tinny are usually the Arion killers in my case (Tinny mainly)

Yeah Arion has mikiri or awareness in english. You can not critical him. But I seriously doubt even Sety can finish Arion in one hit. Maybe one around with 2 hits, but 1 hit is not possible. He has over 60 for HP as I recall and Sety with Holsety(assuming with max magic 30) would only do 60 HP of damage to Arion in one hit. Of course that is assuming Arion has 0 magic defence(yes I know his magic defence isn't 0). It's not possible to finish him off with one hit. I think you remembered wrong SW.

Theres absolutely no way even Sety can kill Areone in one hit even with Holsety in fact its pretty much the other way round...
Even if you get him down to 1 HP theres no way you're hitting him with both Prayer and a +10 to speed from Gungnir.
Sety is psycho as it comes and even the msot he'll do to him is only 51 damage since he can't critical on him.

Well....maybe it IS one round, but he doesn't leave much for other to finish, which is more than Yuria can do. In my game. =P

That is considering Areone doesn't dodge, he DOES have that speed bonus you know.
Plus he is surrounded by a good 21 odd Dragonmasters with some very high stats.

Yeah, but not without greater risks. Corpul's decent with Holsety, but he's honestly not that good.

I agree to the fact that he isn't the best Holsety user (Sety IS way better than both Corpul and Arthur), but he has better stat caps than Arthur, which he can reach easily enough. And don't forget 2 big things : 1) He's the best Holsety user of the three on the Magic Defense point, which makes him invaluable against Ishtar. 2) Corpul + Holsety + Prayer activated = INVINCIBLE Corpul ('cept against Alvis and Yurius of course). I know, of course, that he has ENORMOUS disadavantages against the other Holsety users (can't use Holsety unless promoted while beginning at Level 1 on the chapter where you must beat Allione, lack of Pursuit Skill, only 5 squares movment...) To come back to Allione, on my game Corpul easily beated him with Holsety. Just give him the Pursuit Ring and a Speed Ring (and eventually, a Magic Ring), and he's very good. |
