::snork::
Aahhh . . . Leif . . .
And I say I'm stupid . . . to mention Selice? That's just asking for trouble. But if you think about it, it does make sense for Leif to go to Selice, they're both in the same predicament.
. . .
Oh yeah . . . Thank you Natsu! The fic is wonderful, as always!

I think it's apparent that it's not Dean, since Leaf knows Dean and he doesn't know this knight. And this isn't the FE5 Leaf, even if it was Dean. It's the kickass FE4 Leaf.
Also, Leaf's not going to see Celice first...eh. He plans to go after Silesia's done.

Yay for the FE4 Leif! He's GOOD! Personally, I still think Selice is better, but I think that might just be the Lakche influence.
. . .
::tries to look cute and fails miserably::
Is more fanfiction coming?

If you're asking me, yes. Just as soon as I get FE7 out of my brain. Or at least half of it.
Translation : At least 1.5 playthroughs.

Yeah. Although, I'm using the ROM. And if I start praising it, I'll start writing off a whole page, so I won't.

All right, this one is short....but it's all I can manage.
Once Upon a Fanfiction...Installment....Twelve?
Celice sighed as he turned in his bed. The argument with Oyfaye ended rather disastrously, and he didn’t expect his relations with Yuria and Lakche to improve much either. Even though they’d come to no conclusions, his mentor had suggested a full time maximum guard of Celice’s quarters so he could at least sleep safely without risking Lakche jumping down through the window and putting a sword to his neck. Celice sighed again. He’d greatly missed the time they spent in love...or at least a rough approximation of being in love. They were blade-bonded since they were children, and while he’d seriously entertained thoughts of marrying the quiet and ladylike Lana or the overly spunky Patty, when it came down to it he couldn’t even imagine living with somebody else. Lakche understood him. It wasn’t being a prince protecting the princess, a process which was bound to excite a male to some degree but would ultimately wane, but a mutual understanding. He didn’t even know when he crossed the boundary from comrades-in-arms to lovers.
But like any ally, the thought of Lakche trying to kill him was honestly frightful. He was afraid when he fought Yurius, Celice would admit. And if he was afraid back then, he was dead terrified right now. Aside from his life and neck, she was simply too much to lose, as Johan would say.
And what did I do? Nothing.
Banging his fists against the wall, it was all he could do to keep himself from ripping the whole suite apart with the Tyrfing. Oyfaye told him his father was known for rare cases of temper tantrums as a teenager. Maybe that carried over.
First thing in the morning, he’d go over to Lakche and try to explain. Preferably with two inches thick metal bars between them, but he supposed he would have to get into jail himself for that safety.
The young lord sighed. Tomorrow-and-a-day for eternity worked so well in theory. If only it was that simple.
----------------------
Althena paced the room as she read Carrion’s report on the whole Scandal Crisis Situation. Or as she’d preferred to call it, the Rather Bad Case of Sibling Troubles. Looking straight into Leaf’s face was hard for a few days, but when he came to her asking for transport to Silesia, with those same eyes he bore when they met in Thracia---he was her brother once again. If she wasn’t so busy with running things at home, Althena might’ve even gone with him herself.
“Any good news in there, Althena?” Arion called from his desk, where he was busy signing and sealing a few documents addressed to the minor Thracian nobles. It was only a few months until he leaves Lenster for Thracia, and there was much paperwork to do. Which was a pity.
Althena looked up, stared at him, and shook her head. “They haven’t found anything worthy of note. Intel has been scouring the entire northern side, and they haven’t came up with anything regarding the source of that parchment.”
Arion raised an eyebrow. “And what about the south?”
She gulped. Well, her foster brother was dead attractive when he raised an eyebrow. A rather queer fact, but from the time they’d spent at Lenster, she noticed she wasn’t the only girl to notice. Oh well. “They haven’t been very cooperative. Fa---I mean King Trabant’s passing and the unification hit the chain of command pretty bad. Even if it’s a document signed and sealed by my hands and yours, it seems they think of us as Lenster’s lackeys by now.”
“Well, technically, we are,” Arion sighed. “You’re the Lenster Princess, and I’m the Governor of Thracia...a Duke, but still under Leaf’s rule. They’re not going to like that.”
“You made it sound like me belonging to Lenster is a bad thing.”
”Althena...I just...”
At that, Althena only gave him a strange smile.
---------------------
Eda couldn’t believe her ears. Or her eyes, as she reached the orders sent down to her directly by King Aless. Transport Lord Corpul of Edda to the Blagi Tower to the north, as the pirates in Orga Bay make ferrying relatively unsafe. As well as Lord Delmud of Nodion as escort.
In the corner of the room, she could see the latter knight looking at her. Suspiciously. With his hands crossed behind his head. Lord Corpul’s young face was impassive as he sat on a bench and sipped his milk.
She knew something was bound to go wrong ever since she made that flight to Edda on Queen Lynn’s command. Her hunches were always right.
Joy.

Great writing! I especially liked the whole description of why Celice wants to marry Lakche.

Realistically, she can't. She's a sword girl, and swords just can't cut two inches thick metal bars. It'd break. The breaking tension would skyrocket on contact. Wood, could be, if she swings it in the right way. Metal, naaah.
And furthermore, do you remember that she's going on her way to Edda? =P

When they say they "cut" steel armor, they don't actually "cut" it. There's going to be spaces between the pieces of armor, and a specialized weapon can take advantage of that.
And the writer, which means me, is basing most of this on reality, to keep the insanity in check. There's going to be too many possibilities for things to happen if I don't pull a few stops....If you want fantasy that doesn't necessarily make sense, get writing. I'll wait to see your story.

*shrugs* It depends. I am kidding, yes, and that's partly because I'm in the Bitchy Scientist Mode right now. Still, if you want something, the best way is to learn to do it yourself, since different people are going to have different viewpoints about different things. I sure as hell didn't learn how to use a decent level of English in a single year.
