I shall complain about some really idiotic functions or mistakes that Nintendo put in Fire Emblem 7 but never used.
Bramimond the Bramimond
For some really stupid reason, Nintendo decided to name Bramimond's class "Bramimond." Besides sounding stupid, this setting doesn't seem to fit in unit list either.
Worse yet, Nintendo decided to list Bramimond twice, once for his class, once for the character. While Nintendo does seem wasteful, take a look at Ephidel's stats.
Nintendo decided to be conservative with their data, I guess, as Ninian as a dragon uses the exact same info as Ephidel does, and so does all the other unimportant characters who only appear in the dialogues, but this doesn't explain the existance of the name Igrene, as well as the double listings of the names Black Fang and Bandit, and nearly all the classes.
In fact, nearly all the enemy units are the exact same unit with different classes and set levels just to save space.
Still, there are some things that really take up space.
(Note the class name prince.)
Another thing that really confused me was the existance of the tactician's stats. If they didn't bother to include Ephidel, why the heck does the tactician exist?
And why are there 5 pictures each for Lyn, Eliwood, and Hector, or why they would not bother having a picture of a mamkute in the portraits list.
Whatever the reason is, we can just assume that Nintendo has terrible organization skills.
Just for whatever reason, here are some classes that Nintendo implented that never did anything or did appear but only for dialogue reasons.
Great Lord (Duplicate)
Female Mercenary
Female Hero
Female Myrmidon
Female Knight
Female General
Female Shaman
Female Druid
Female Cavalier
... (Skips some)
Dead Assassian
Peer (What the...)
Queen (...)
Assassian with it's arm cut off (Labeled Civilian and, "harmless")
Corsair
Dead Prince
A Prince not facing you (...)
An Unconcious Ninian (when you put your cursor over her, she becomes Ninian doing a dance, but not facing you)
A Dead Warrior
Some Female Sage with insane stats
Some unused items:
A sixty use Vulnery
An unlimted use Slim Sword named "Marquess Laus," it's description is "Merlinus."
A level E Lance that looks like a Steel Sword with a range of "Total" named "Marquess Laus"
A level S Lance called "One of the Black Fang" which gave my hacked Uther 278 attack, 270 critical hit, 306 Hit rate, 12 avoid (meh), with a range of "total," and its considered a treasure.
Oh no! I'm silenced! I can't visit houses now!
Here's another thing. The Silencer disables the ability to visit houses.
What the heck? How does silencing prevent people from visiting houses!?
Anyway, I have go to now. I'll add more when I find more.
