Individual Character skills(like a certain person can gain money from villages because he is a kid) hopefully the skilss will be better than that.

I hope that if they do make the story on Elibe, that the the lords are NOT from Lycia. the game should have to do with the Sacaen, Etrurian and Ilian kingdoms.

Seriously, it would be a nice bonus to have better graphics, and to be able to see more than just their heads and shoulders. Nothing too fancy. If you guys are into PC games, think Warcraft. WC II was pretty similar to FE in terms of the style (not quality) of graphics. An arial type view. WC III is still an arial view, but it's not quite straight down. Things have depth to them. A lot nicer to look at it, which counts for something when you play hours and hours.

Also:

-- More flexibility, and fewer lords. I really, really dislike being forced to use Hector, Eliwood, and Lyn. I'd use Hector regardless, but Lyn I'd only use when she got decent stats -- she can be great, but she can also really, really suck -- and I would always prefer Guy, Raven, Legualt, Matthew, or Jaffar to fill Eliwood's sword user slot.

(Similarly, Lilina as a Lord is a horrible idea. Part of the charm of FE6 is that you can choose for just about every class. That would force you to use her over Lugh or Hugh.)

- Multiplayer maps, so it's more strategy, and not just "let's see who had better luck with the RNG."

-Trial maps

-New Story

-Main character with plausible hair color.

-Gamecube, because sitting in comfortable chair and TV > going blind.

-And a customizable main character (weapon type and all that) would be really cool, and help balance out who you wanted to use.

-More of a reaction when characters die.

The ups and downs of FFTA were one of my major gripes with the game. That being said, I had a lot of fun equipping as much +jump stuff on dragoons as possible

Hn, if the thing is on the GCN, I wouldn't mind the battles being 2½D, but the system still 2D. No 3D. Ever. Except possibly for cut-scenes, but then they'd have to write a whole engine just to animate them


For all anyone knows, it's going to be on the DS, and not on the GBA or the GCN...

haha it realy depends on the approach of 3d. it doesnt have to be dynamic camera angles.. and crazy zoom into ground lvl veiws.. haha it can still be overhead veiw, just 3d maps for map interaction, or 3d characters for better movements and such.. altho... wen i think about it now. in the battle sequence.. it would be cooler to see them drawin as characters ud see in an anime or something.. it would make it look realy neat...
