No, this post isn't about cruelty to animals. How do you think these new beast people will fit into the weapons triangle anyway. Do you think it'll be something weird(like this posts' topic) or are they just gonna use regular weapons and maybe their beast powers will play a different role?

Seriously, I believe they'll stick with the weapon traingle(s). The beastman thing may appear as a race stat, or as new classes (like the mamkutes).

If they let all the beastmen as members of the same class (which is not impossible), I shall kill someone.

1-If you can play with them in either state, I'd guess that in human form they would be able to use weapons, while in beast form they'd just use natural weapons(which probably would get stronger when you class change).

2-If they're only playable in their beast forms I guess they won't be able to use weapons, and might even have their own beast triangle. ;D

I'm guessing they stick to the weapons triangle. Since we might be dealing with a bunch of different animal races, I doubt they will give every single type their own attack, ala mamakute.

It all depends how much empahses is put on the beast forms. Mamukoots (Fe7s translation) never had a weapons triangle even when there were multiple varvieties. Its always a possibility.

Mamkute is the usual term.

It's a class of shapeshifters found in FE1/3/6. Basically, they're dragons who sealed their draconic powers into a stone, and use it to transform into their true forms for a brief period of time.

Well, I'm not sure on what I think about this new game. Unless it's released in North America, I'm not ever going to play it.

Maybe they'll use weapons in a human form then some natural weapons in a beast form. Or they could have Beast Stones and transform in battle like Mamcutes and be separate from the weapon traingle. Or maybe they'll have both. Who knows? I don't, yet.

As long as they have Swordmasters, I'm happy. Well, and the crit bonus back to 30% Or, heaven forbid higher?

Consistently? The only ones I know about are Nils, Ninian, and if you want to count the fire dragons at the end. Either I skip over too many cut scenes, or I missed something.

Ninian and Nils are FE7, if memory serves.

And maybe there will be a "built in" weapon in beast form (the lion claws count as swords or somthing) and transforming just screws with the stats/growths of the character.
