Canas IS pretty good. His Magic stat is pretty high, and I always try to use him. He's probably close behind Nino as far as favorite magic users go, and Priscilla promoted is up there too. Nino though is still faster. ;)

let see canas vs nino let see someone that good in both versions adn someone that refuses to be dead weight goodbye nino get lot of fun talking to my rejected people like jaffar and the pegugus sisters

You got really badly cheated on that Canas....... Heres my Canas without Afa's drops and notice he's still only level 13....  |

Dude.. m!ght's Canas SUCKS..... especially for level 20....
Mine had similar stats at about level 9 or 10 Druid or so... but not 20. O_O You got cheated /really badly/ by the RNG... You didn't give Nino the Afa's Drops did you? Because she really doesn't need them...

My Canas is like Lv. 3 Druid and he's got around 17 or 18 Mag. You were really cheated, because Canas is usually a pretty good unit by the end of the game.

He just said that Canas was WITH Afa's Drops hmm>< my english seems to be worse than i thought, I meant nino was manipulated by Afa's drops, not canas...><, but well if I see Setis canas, he isnt that good after all...^^; especially his lack of speed...how ever i have to admit that he was a big help though... XD and kyuusei, is nino that good??..well i think its advantageous to give her the drops, coz the other good units (i used to call them "the last seven =P") would be to high at the time you get the drops so their "maturity" wouldnt be worthy to be increaed for the last remaining levels..and the question is: whom else should I give them to? ^^; |

See, I knew what he was talking about. =P Even a Canas with the Afa's Drops couldn't turn out that bad.
Anyway, the Afa's Drops improves a character's stat growth... which in Nino's case, is already pretty good. She'll max out a lot of things except Defense without them, and even if she doesn't, the stats will usually end up fairly high and close to the max. I know she starts out really low, but she's easy to level up since the enemies by then are pretty high levelled and you let her finish them off, especially the promoted ones. In my previous games if I'd bothered, I'd give the Afa's drops to Eliwood since he usually sucks, even after promotion. But this time around (Eliwood Hard) he's actually GOOD. and USEFUL.
