So I'm right then...you did powerlevel him otherwise Roy shouldn't be at lvl. 20, you really don't get a Roy at lvl. 20 unless you're actually trying to delibrately get him there by letting him kill everyone.

And how did you get such clear screen captures? Unless you used a rom (which would be another good reason how you managed...or you're a very very good GBA screen capture person.

yes, i did powerlevel him, why not? ^-^, i powerlevel every character who just looks cool for me..
and yes, i do use a Rom(I got the jp original of course :, why should this be another reason...?i certainly dont use any cheats or something...

The reason using rom is different is because of Save States, the RNG numbers don't effect Save States unless its right before the move since they are frozen points in your game and not actually part of the game. So its much easier to get very high stat ups with save states by playing a turn over and over again.

Also I've found sometimes it only seems to occur with FE7 and FE6 roms that the growth rates or the game itself does actually start acting funny, glitch funny.

well yea..but isnt it anoying to reset everytime after anyone died...?(sometimes in very ridiculous circumstances, like: oppenent has got crit 3, and you get killed by him just because of this 3%....)i remember how i used to build a "circle of defense"in my very first game, made by guys like Marcus, Batre and other crappy promoted units, and just wait the enemies come and get weakened, so the low levelers can kill them with one blow.but however, one is certainly able to get high stats with much patience...(very much..i think)..but me... I dont have this much...
Edit: yea like you said(or did i missunterstood?^^; ), i doubt the game would make fun anymore if one has to play a 2hour chapter again because of a litte misstake...and well, one also can play the game slowly but carefully...but there wont be an A rank in "Tactics" at the end then

Well generally I don't spend over 2 hours on one chapter unless I keep resetting which is rare except in FE5.
Besides I don't ever recall ever taking over 2 hours to play a chapter only one close to that is Ch-18 from FE5 if you go for Xavier that takes me around an hour of careful planning and moving.
And there wouldn't be an A rank in the game if nobody was capable of it. Why is there even a S rank if A rank is so painful to get?

Firstly I'm chinese so that was a very bad example.

Secondly Fil actually makes more sense than Fir, Fil is short for Filia an actual girls name. Its a greek name derived from happiness and friendship which actually makes sense since most of the FE6 place and people names seem to be gaelic or greek.

...seems there is some missunderstanding...firstly, i certainly have nothing against chinese...since i am one too...^-^;(shi zhen de...XD), for the second, in japanese there arent any "R"s, plus every word has to end with a vowel, like "la li le lo lu", and so the nintendos had to call her Filu, which makes people who can read jp think she could be called Fil, but her official name is fir. well right! you can call her like you want after all.. ^-^ www.nintendo.co.jp/n08/afej/chara/page05.html

And going by the official translation isn't definite since they can't decide themselves most of the time which one is right just look at FE4.
The official card game uses Zigurd, Treasure uses Siglud official guides vary from Sigurd, Siguld, Siguruudo (which si the basic one which ends up as Sigurd)
