Question concerning Guy and promotion

right now I'm considering weather or not he is worth promoting...He just hit lvl 20 with 20 speed, 20 skill, and....9 strength. Dodges just about everything, but unless he crits he can't kill anything. Here's the real deciding factor though: I only have 2 hero seals left on chapter 27, and I have to split them between Dorcas, Bartre and Guy. Bartre is a killing machine in this game for some reason, he has 13 defense while Dorcus only has 4 (!). Dorcus has 20 str but Bartre is very close with 19. In playing through Eiliwood's route so getting Karla isn't a factor. When will I be able to buy seals at the secret shop? I know it's on a map coming up soon, but I don't know how much they cost. some info on that as well would be appriciated.

I have put too much thought into this already and would appreciate some input. Thanks in advance

if i'm you , i would promote Guy and Bartre....now

I may be biased, but I'd say Guy is worth promoting.

I think he gets a strength bonus when he gets promoted(don't really remember; I'll play now to find out) and he will still have enough time to build it up(my Guy has 22 str at Lvl. 15 promoted, and he maxes at 25). Give him a silver sword/killing edge/Wo Dao and watch him do wonders.

As for the other crest, use it on Bartre. Defense is hard to get on a fighter.

But I prefer Guy over Raven, though Raven levels up faster.

dorcas don't bother bartre only in hector adn then to 5 promoted guy always mazes by the 3 chapter ii got him adn raven in the begining a pain to level at first but okay later i really train people for the last chapter dart against scarface guy against lyodd raven against linus canas versus the dark mage luciase against porkface and osin against lundred adn anyone else is there just to look good or carry weapons

Go with Bartre.....

Guy even if he does get a strength bonus he normally should be at least 10 or over strength before promotion. And your Dorcus is beyond suckage.

But Bartre has his good games and bad games, you've caught him in a good game so promote him. He's a good unit using both bows and axes.

personally i use geitz over him the since he gets the power of cheese

Use the hero crests on Bartre and Guy. Bartre has got good defense for you...and guy at that speed can dodge almost anything in trees. Don't worry about his strength, as long as he can do about...oh...9 or 10 initial damage to the enemy, he shouldn't be that hard to get kills off of.

I'm assuming he's already promoted Raven so yeah go with Guy and either of your warriors. I don't use warriors much so I don't have much to say about them.

You should promoted Guy rite away, he'll get 2 extra strength once promoted, and you should give him the energy ring if you still have it from Lyn's route.

Guys turned out to be the best character in my story, with maxed strength at 25 (WOW) ;D ;D ;D

Come to think of it, forget Bartre and Dorcas, just promote Guy. You get better axe users anyway like Hector and Hawkeye. Berzerkers are more fun to use than Warriors.

Sword Fighters always turn out to have those kinds of stats(very high Speed and Skill,low Strength and Defense)but usually once they promote they tend to work out those weaknesses. I think they get low Strength since they critical so often,and low Defense since they never really get hit.

You lose the energy ring once you finish Lyn's route....
