Chapter 7-Truth of Roy

So Roy is at the hospital, getting his hospitality from the nurses, as Eyrios and Mary had found an inn they could stay at for the night. Eyrios and Mary shared the same bed (because they couldn?t afford loosing money for a two bedded room). Night had fallen...

Mary: Oh, I hope Roys okay...

Eyrios: He is.

Mary: I wonder who Ryuli is...he seems so mysterious...

Eyrios: Thats how it is to everyone you meet the first time.

Mary: Oh, Eyrios, stop talking so dull. Lighten up! ^_^

Eyrios: I cant help it...I?m just like this...

Mary: Hmm...

Mary looked out the window aimlessly, and Eyrios crawled into the bed and snuggled under the bed sheets.

Eyrios: You going to sleep?

Mary: Not yet...Im just going to stay up just a bit longer.

Eyrios: Suits yourself.

Eyrios fell into sleep while Mary continued to look out the window, but something was bothering her mind that she couldnt sleep. She suddenly lifted her hand up to her chest and bowed her head.

Mary: Oh, please, Roy, dont you die...Please live, Roy...please...

After Mary finished her pray, she went on the bed and scooted close to Eyrios, for he was warm and the room was cold. Mary stared into Eyrios face...and she thought...

Marys Thoughts: Hmm...Eyrios seems so strong, but I wonder if he really is a nice person. Maybe Eyrios is a nice person, but simply couldnt express it...

And Mary continues to think to herself until she finally fell asleep. Now the morning had arrived.

Eyrios: Mary...Mary, wake up.

Mary didnt wake up, obviously because Eyrios was whispering too quietly and she couldnt hear.

Eyrios: Mary! Wake up!

Mary sat right up.

Mary: What! Where?

Eyrios: Huh? Are you okay, Mary?

Mary: Yeah, you just startled me.

Eyrios: Sorry.

Mary: Its okay.

Eyrios: Lets go see Roy.

Mary: I thought you never liked him.

Eyrios: Just because I dont like him doesnt mean I dont want to see him. I have to make sure that boy is doing fine. Also, his death could mess up my ratings as an officer.

Mary: Really?

Eyrios: Really.

Mary jumped on Eyrios and hugged him tightly.

Mary: Oh, Eyrios, you are truly kind!

Eyrios: Huh?

Mary: Um...Forget it. Come on! Lets go see Roy!

Eyrios: Okay...

And Mary grabbed Eyrios by the arm and pulled him with her all the way to the hospital and to Roys room. Roy was laying on the bed, sleeping.

Mary: Lord Roy, are you okay?

Roy: (Mumbles)

Eyrios: Oh, Mary, seems like he doesnt care.

Roy: Huh?

Roy opens his eyes, revealing his tired, blue eyes.

Roy: Oh, hi Mary. Hi Eyrios. Its good to see you both.

Eyrios: Thats good to hear. At least you care about me.

Roy: Huh?

Mary: Oh, Lord Roy. Didn?t you hear? Hes happy that you care about him so.

Roy: Really?

Eyrios: Sure...Listen to Mary clearly and not me...

Mary giggled at Eyrios. She set her eyes back on Roy.

Mary: Roy...I?m so happy to see youre alright.

Roy: Mary...^_^

Eyrios: Hey...Roy...You shouldnt...Hey Mary.

Mary: Yeah?

Eyrios: Can you leave me and Roy alone for a bit?

Mary: Oh, okay. Ill go look for a place to eat since I am hungry.

Eyrios: Oh, okay. Hurry back, okay?

Mary: I will. Dont worry, Eyrios.

Mary left the room.

Eyrios: Roy, you cant go on like this.

Roy: Go on like what?

Eyrios: Go on, pretending to like Mary.

Roy: How come?

Eyrios: Because youre going to break the poor girls heart.

Roy: How?

Eyrios: Because...Youre making her having feelings deeper than friends...And you already have a girl. I know.

Roy: Huh?

Eyrios came up close to Roy, his face right in front of Roys. Eyrios gave Roy a hard stare. Roy blinked a bit.

Eyrios: Roy...Lilina...Dont forget her. Mary...she...can be hurt knowing your with Lilina.

Roy: How-

Eyrios: No, no, no! It doesnt matter how I know. All that matters is that you make it clear that you are only Marys friend, not a love one.

Roy: I understand.

Eyrios: Then stop making it seem like it! Mary...shes...someone who is dear to me so don?t break her heart...by giving her your own, fake love.

Roy: How come you care about her so much?

Eyrios: Roy...

Eyrios stood up and headed toward the door.

Eyros: In a way, you are heartless. But I care because she...shes someone that cares about me in a weird way...I dont how to describe it, but Roy! Dont you continue your charm, for if she is to cry...Ill rip you apart!

Roy: Uh...

Eyrios left the room, closing the door behind him. Eyrios sighed and then he left the hospital in search for Mary...where ever she may be...
