That would depend on what one is searching for. If you're looking for stats et al, then Thingy's just likely to confuse him/her further, as well as not help whatsoever.
And as Iggy says, it's compressed, which means the only way you're getting scripts out of it is by figuring out the compression and writing a dumper.

Most of the 'numbers' are actually GBA processor instructions. One will have to search out data if one wants to change it.
That involves a lot of trial and error (and luck...). There's not really much I can think of that would help.

You didn't figure it out yet? Maybe you should post the address for an easy-to-check text, so that more people may try to figure it out. By the way, do the character set for the names and for the dialogues differ? It seems that the entire dialogue is controled by one byte because I changed one thing, and the entire dialogue got messed up. |

You don't have to change much. Haven't you been paying attention? He changed one byte and made the text turn into gibberish.

Oh, I dunno... if you saved every edited file you do as 'filename.gba', you're going to have a hard time remembering which game the file was originally... and you'll only be able to have one in the directory at once, so you'll have to make subfolders for them all... It's not really that unheard of for changing one byte to change so much. For example, both of these occured after changing only one byte.   |

Damn, I'm starting to get a lil fearful of using the editor...but who gives. I might as well fool around with it in hoping that I get some sort of reaction from the game...a good one i hope
