Why the heckdoes everyone love Nino? You get her late in the game and her stats are so bad she cant beat anybody. She SUCKS!  |

I kind of agree. But if you raise her up in the last few levels, she can be one of the top 5 characters in the game. I used to always throw her in the back until a friend showed me how awesome she can be.

Okay, Nino maybe gotten late in the game, but I had her promoted, with level S Anima, destroying units many levels higher, and she will most likely be better than Erk and Pent anyways. Also, note an arena in chapter 29x.

If you bother to train Nino, she will become an AWESOME member of your group, of course you don't have to only take my word for it...the rest of the Nino fans will back me up on this. Trust me, Nino is worth the trouble that it takes to get her up the first few levels, once she's high enough she'll be able to fend for herself, AND kick major butt!!!!!!!! And she does NOT suck!!!!! You just don't seem to have the skill, nor the patience to bother training her!!!! (sorry, Nino bashing is so unjust and uncalled for, it makes me angry. Bash someone who deserves it...maybe Renault.

I hate to say this. But nino is a lot like Lowen. Believe it or not, I once had a lvl 20/20 nino with 17 magic. Her speed was less than 20. She is usually very good though.

Heh, see you took my advice  Anyways, Nino does end up pretty good when trained. The question isn't whether Nino is good, 'cause she definitely is, just if she's worth your time. You won't NEED her to beat the game, but it's sure nice to look at all those shiny stats  |

BTW Sliceanddice the next time you go through the game I challenge to level up Nino, if you do it who knows, you might become a reformed man, not to mention a guy with an awesome Nino! |

Nino's still a bit of a waste IMO even if she has good stats
i'd take Pent or Priscilla anyday
A in staves is way more important than a few more magic points

I never found the time to train Nino up. I'm a tightwad, I spent all my cash on Silver and Killer weapons, magic, and good staves in 29x, instead of the Arena. I think Pent does just fine as your high level magic user.
Renault sucks.

Hmm.. all I needed to level up Nino was a few extra turns in chapter 26. I can usually get her to level 20 and then I can promote her by the end, then I can just use her normally like all the other characters I actually use. <3

It can get kind of hard to raise nino in the last few chapters though (hard mode especially), and with Priscilla around, you don't really NEED Nino around. She's absurd with her stats late game, but on those chapters, you are wondering whether you want to raise her. There are only 2-3 tough chapters left in the game after you get her (Cog of Destiny, Victory or Death, maybe Light), so you can ask yourself if she is worth raising. In my opinion, I'd rather raise Priscilla, who has some edges over Nino.
