Geocities blows. Too many adds. Too many popups. Too many regulations. It really depends on how much shit you're trying to put up. I'd say Angelfire's your best bet for the free sites. If it's a lot, and you're willing to pay, you can try GD Webmedia. It's $100 for a year, but you get 10GB worth of space that you can do anything you want with. |

Do NOT use FreeWebs. They either lie outright about their services or "forget" to tell you about things. I used them for a The Legend of Zelda site. They said they would give 100 MB, free--I received 40 MB. They also "forgot" to tell me about the fifty file limit, after which I could no longer upload ANY files, no matter how many I deleted. They also say they have no ads, but they insist on placing a link back to their homepage on your site. Link = ad.
So, no, don't use FreeWebs. I use FreeHomePages.com. A lot of people don't like them, but they've been good to me.

Okay, so far I know that geocities is crap and not to use freewebs. Now I have to work with is angelfire and I got to look into freehomepages. I wonder if Dutchbest could make a sub-domain.
