Playing this game is fun and all, but without the story present I kinda lose motivation to play this game. Maybe its because I was spoiled by Rekka no Ken but I am really dying to now what the hell is happening here. ANyway what I wanted to ask was, for those who know how to read japanese how did you learn. Also if you are not fluent can you recommend me some books or software?

1) You can't learn Japanese overnight heck not even a year is enough for basics....names though is pretty easy
2) You can read TF's summary of the first 4 or 5 chapters
The rest fo the game is sorta hard to explain...I just sorta know whats going on....but its mostly him running around from place to place and around 21 he meets up with Celice's army and um...well I cna't really explain...

Japanese? I'm not that good, obviously, but a good teacher is....surprisingly, Rekka no Ken Japanese. It's sufficiently easy and sufficiently hard. Bring a dictionary with you.
Of course, before I tackled that, I spent a year reading various things to learn the basics of grammar. If you hate official classes as much as I do, those are the way to go. Mangas are especially easy, since you pretty much know whether you guess right or wrong right away from the characters' reaction.

Random House: Japanese-English English-Japanese Dictionaryby. Seigo Nakao is very useful...but the downside about it is that....but the downside is that you need to know the pronounciation of both Hiragnana and Katana by heart inorder to look up words quickly. The words are listed in Romanization. It has the chart for the Japanese syllables included though. Japanese For Busy People IIs wut we're using in my Foreign Language class. Yes serously....learning just about any other language is not sumthing you can do overnight. I do know people who have learned how to read and write Chinese mostly from watching TV and reading Manga translated to Chinese. They amaze me...

Well of course I know I won't learn over night, but atleast now I have a true goal in mind. Not only do I want to learn it just for Fire Emblem, but I also want to play games like Tear Ring Saga,Shin Megumi,Tales of Destiny 2, and an assload of other we get assed out on. Also now is pretty much the best time to do it since I don't have school and all.
