(For those who doesn't rememember, it's the one you choose between Cyas and Sety.)
My question is simple, and just for curiousity:
Do those commoners have any importance, at all?

I can't remember that map because I last played it about a year ago but I found them helpful when the enemies caprtured them (FINE, have worse stats).

Thats the neat thing I always noticed about FE6 and a great way of weakening enemies.

Yeah it's great to kill enemies when they capture one of those NPCs. I don't know why but I was always compelled to save them... It was funny in chapter 24, all those Loptous mages just keeps truing to capture the children. Then I move in and slaughtered them like pigs.
