Alert:Proboards will stop allowing members undr 13

First off, if everybody is aware of of this, I'll apologize. There isn't a sticky topic about this, and in fact I don't see any topics about this on the first page. Anyway, on a Kids Next Door Proboard I now go to, there's a sticky topic with an announcement that Proboards will hunt for any members below 13 and delete the corresponding board if even ONE member is busted. Don't look at the KND board; they didn't come up with the rule, and anyway, this happening to a KND Board is ironic, due to the fact that KND members that turn 13 get decommisioned. Harshly, I might add. However, that's not the point. The point is, you need to make sure your profile DOESN'T say you're under 13, even as a joke, or you might leave about a hundred or more active members POed, thanks to a whole board being deleted over one member's idiocy.

This is important for some people, especially since there are some under 13s here that are actually board admins (NTG). If you are, hide your ages.

I find (from personal experience) that having people lie about their ages will not change the fact that they are under-age. I don't want to say bad things in front of a kid who claims to be 17 but is actually only 9 or so! You can see the problems in false ages!

I dont know why you would announce your age anywhere on the internet NTG. So I guess that means yes. You can spell pretty well, and you use ok puncuation and grammar, I'm sure you could pass for 16 or so.
