I just let the game decided.
That's always challenging and fun. ;D

Same here, plus I don't even know the so-called RNG trick (NO please don't tell me or I'll get angry).
It's always fun letting the game decide. The RNG never screws me up much anyways.

I've heard of the RNG Trick, but have been fortunate enough to never be informed of what it entails. People who would actually use something like that and then claim to have beaten the game legitimately sicken me...

Yeah, were's the "I'm no cheater!" answer to this poll ;D I've used it once too garuantee Hector the final hit on Kishuna to get to 19xx though. 71% hit rate was too much to gamble on, as I'd gotten a lot of good lv. ups on that chapter.

See the cheats/codes/hacks topic. On GameFAQs (yes, I visit that site... shame on me) I saw that topic, clicked it, and now I've learned it. Now that I've learned it, I always use it. Why be crappy when you can be good? I've tried to not use it but it burns to see my characters get no level ups or crappy level ups.

I used it during a couple of chapters, but found that I like playing the game because there are times when normally bad characters might end up great, and vice versa. So I'll keep my distance from it.

yeah the game is more fun when you don't use the RNG trick, it's fun to have to level up different characters, like Bartre, if, last week you'd told me, "You will use Bartre in your next play through, your Bartre will be good, you will actually use him." I would have laughed. But it's true, my RNG decided to LOVE my Bartre, so now he's kicking serious enemy ass. I'd prefer to raise different characters, that way the game is always different every time I play. This is a pretty useless poll....how about doing something original...what type of FE character would you be?

I don't understand how anyone could find the trick useful. Wow you know if it will be more than or less 50. Big WOW! Heres a situation. I have hit 60% the RNG says the number is above 50. That tells me nothing I didn't already know. I knew there was a chance I could miss I can now take the gamble myself.
I'm used to using complete garbage (games where unused pre-promotes are better than my main army yet I use the main army for the final battle) and I don't have the patientce to look at a situation 50 different ways just so *character name* gets a "decent" level up.

me too. there is no space for not manipulating the RNG while knowing what the trick and RNG are.

I never used it as I've never really had the time and I don't see the use. The whole never really know part is exciting. Missing on a 98% chance to hit, it's rare but hey, isn't that more realistic?
I don't really know how to use it and my characters always turn out great. Even when the RNG screws me (like it was doing in FE6) it always fixes it up later.
