You see that patch of grass in the south? That you normally can't get to because of the castle's walls? You need to take whoever has your member card and someone with a warp staff down there, and use the warp staff to get there. Don't make it someone that's absolutely necessary to your mission, because you can't get him back.
EDIT: I believe he's talking about the Dennig stage.
