Anyway here the truth on your so called "god" (as explained on his site), its just a load of macros. Thats how he has impossibly fast reactions.
Il'l explain its an emulastor movie file. The format logs button presses for each frame and with persistence he made the movie. Did you think the 1up chain was humanly possible along with him fireing the fireballs that qucikly against Koopa.
Acmlm on some romhacking forums made his own insane beating Tetris Mode B on Level 19 height 5 to show us that you manually make it using a hex editor (you look at current/next piece plan your moves play the movie etc).
To summerise think of it as lots of mini movies strung togeter or him playing frame by frame (using a hex editor). No-one can naturally have motor reactions of that calabur. Jumping AS soon as you hit the floor EVERY time. Give me a break. The fact the person said this as well and now everyones like wow he plays like a God!

It's possible. Bloody hard, but possible.
It's also possible that he's played the game so many bloody times that he's learned to time just where everything is and how to jump on it? I mean, I've played SMB3 a lot and can have great timing on some levels, but never with World 8, and never gotten myself that many 1Ups just from jumping all over guys. ^^;;
He could have played it frame by frame, because that'd explain why he has so many bloody close calls (running into enemies) and avoids ALL OF them. More times than I could recall even.

Its possible humanly there are people out there that sad or good enough to reach such a level of perfection. I've seen it being done within human limits...although that doesn't say there is the possibility that was frame by frame.
