**Browsing through the other games forum then wondering where the Lunar thread is**
Anyway, this series is great. I played the 3rd remake of Silver Star Story (Lunar Legends) and now I really want to play Eternal Blue and Magic School if I by any chance get my hands on them.

I am currently playing Lunar 2 on the Sega CD. it is a really great game, although at times it can be hard. The series is good even thought the first one has gotten too many remakes that should be allowed.

Ahhh yessss. The music quality on the Sega CD versions are the best. I have no clue whats up with the crappy music in the PSX versions, except for the Silver Star Story Complete intro theme.

I listened to the PSF's of Lunar 2 and compared it to the Sega CD version. They sounded similar but the Sega CD sounds better than the PSX. I find that funny since the Sega CD version was released in '94.

I find it simple the mega CD is using a CD player to play the tunes while the playstation is using its sound processor (which I think is an advanced version of the SNES one but i'm not sure on that).
Its the mp3 vs midi debate all over again.
Maybe I shoiuld check out this game if its beenb remade as many times as people say it shouldn't be hard to find.

I have the PSX remakes of Silver Star and Eternal Blue, since I never owned Sega CD. I love these games. The characters are wonderful.

I also think whoever did Lucia's Theme in the Sega CD version has a much better voice than whoever did her theme in the PSX remake. www.rpgdreamer.com/mp32.htmlYou can get that song there as well as some others. |

I have the PSX remakes of Silver Star and Eternal Blue, since I never owned Sega CD. I love these games. The characters are wonderful. And Mystere kicks ass. *grin* Mystere is . . . questionable. All of his battle cries have something to do with spanking or tasting. And I love that game. I find some of the dialogue with NPCs hilarious. Ronfar kicks some serious ass. |

I've just downloaded the Sega CD ISO for Lunar Eternal Blue and ummmmm........wheres the game's save option? The emulator's save state is really messed up so that won't work.

i never actualy played Lunar... i watched my brother play through all of it... hahahaha.. but i love it.. its sooo cooll... i like the theme song for the psx version.. its really good. i heard somewhere there was a Lunar anime.. is this tru?

The anime is based on Lunar Magic School for the Saturn and Gamegear. There are also mangas for it too.

Personally I didn't really like the Star Ocean anime......I 've never seen the Lunar anime before but judging from the screenshots.....I think it's meant for kids.
