I was just wondering what people's favorite Zelda game was (Most of you would probably like Ocarina of Time the best).

Definitely Ocarina of Time. Good graphics for the time, amazing puzzles, and so many places to explore and dungeons to beat. I absolutely loved this game! I also like all the other ones in the series as well making it my favorite game series of all time.

I voted a Link to the Past. What can I say... I love that game! =D
Ocarina of Time takes a close second for me.
Yuritu's right though... you should've included the NES Zeldas and Link's Awakening... those are pretty important ones to miss. o_o;;

Definitely Zelda 3. LttP featured great gameplay and amazingly complex dungeon designs -- that's all you need to make a Zelda game great. In LttP's case, the developers went above and beyond the original Zelda mold and created a finished product that was simply ingenious.
Zelda 64 = overhyped, overrated, and a game whose supposed greatness was a result of company hype, rabid fanboys, and media stupidity. LIEK OMG THIS GAME IS A PREFECT 10. While one or two of the dungeons in this game were enjoyable (most notably the Water Temple), OoT's gameplay degenerated from the thoughtful gameplay of Zeldas 3 and 4 to an almost hack and slasher with a few annoying puzzles sprinkled without. That's the way I look at it, at least.

Forget all those...
Majora's Mask for me...
Majora's Mask is my fave simply because the atmosphere was so well done, the whole gameplay was creative like LttP while it kept the hack and slash fun of Ocarina of Time. Bosses were well made and fun as well.
Finally the final hour of the 3rd day on Kafei/Anju sidequest on Majora's Mask will seriously remain as one of my favourite moments in gaming.
Also the characters were well used, everyone's stories all rolled around each other. It was also really interesting how you could keep creating so many path's through the game and see everyone in their own lives and how this time they actually gave everyone some good characterization.
Plus....Kamaro's Mask!!!! Everyone loves to watch Link dance! Also Majora's theme tune will remain as one of my favourite boss themes of all time. It just sounds plain sick, twisted and sadistic completely perfect for Majora's Mask. Generally Majora's Mask was probably the closest you'd get to a really darkish theme Zelda game without losing the Zelda light heartedness.

I like Majora's Mask best because...emmm....read Seti's post above and add in the return of the overworld theme and great replay value to those reasons. Heck it's also fun running around Termina for me. I also find it interesting roaming Termina with the Fierce Deity's Mask on after doing that little trick to glitch the game.

Slow down time(you'll need to or else...). Go to Sakon's Hideout anytime you want and and just keep running and rolling into one side of the door. If you get it right then you'll end up rolling right through it. Once you're inside, Kafei's side quest will start immediatly. When this happens keep Link with the Bunny Hood or just any other mask on before the puzzle starts. When you get temporary control of Kafei, hit start and replace Link's Bunny Hood with the Oni Mask. Then after you get control of Link again, he'll automatically become Oni Link. You have to finish the puzzle to get out cause you won't be able to use any other item as Oni Link.
Note: You might wanna have the Bunny Hood on when trying to roll through the door to Sakon's Hideout. It really helps.
Once you enter Clock Town as Oni Link, you can't get out.
Try not to talk to anyone, the game jams up when you talk to certain people like the bombers and store keepers since they say different stuff when you wear different masks.
DO NOT TRY THIS GLITCH WITH THE GIANT'S MASK! Well it is kinda funny seeing this happen though. Link starts to grow big in the Hideout and the game jams up when his head hits the ceiling.
You might wanna clear the paths to the other regions of Termina like Snow Head cause once you're Oni Link, you won't be able to use any other items. Therefore you won't be able to melt ice or bust rocks open.

Majora's Mask had a deeper storyline than OoT, so I picked that over it. If I still had my Zelda Collector's Edition (will someone spare me a PIN number?) I'd be playing Majora's Mask right now.

Sorry to report seti but that Fierce Deity Mask doesn't work on PAL copies of the Game. I KNOW you can't pause in Saxons Hideout during the kafei like the glitch requires. I blew a whole 3 days walking out and finding the entrance blocked, then 3 for... in other words I had to do the Kefei sidequest ALOT. Thankfully Finding the glitch didn't work was a side effect from doing the sidequest PROPERLY!
I can't decide, why do I feel attracted to the EVIL sections of Zelda Ocarina of time Master quest. There are a lot of SCUM puzzles in that game.
Yeah, MagiDrakee are you assuming that Zelda didn't have Hack and Slash elements before Ocarina of time. Ocarinas "realism" and how peopple rate that as a good point is what gets me. Poor Link Stuck in a Groundhog day universe with the exception of a few events. Breath of Fire and plently of Gerneric RPGs have done this.
Thats what I liked about Majoras mask the days changed the people moved about etc unlike Ocarinas Gerneric RPG Day and Night. Majoras masks low point was probably Great Bay temple but that was a high Point too. Coming out with all the stray faries in time was a great feeling (and ironically it was the only Dungeon I ever got them all in).

Original Legend of Zelda on the NES. Link to the Past dragged on a little bit long for my tastes. And I've never gotten a chance to play the newer Zeldas enough to comment on them. I feel old now....
