Unfortunately, it's not even an original Pokemon game; it's Tetris Attack with a paintcoat. And yes, that mode is a bitch.

Hm. I never played those, but I agree they hyped up the series too much. The show was sappy, and the paraphenalia was a waste of human existance and everyone who saw it was dumber for doing so. (Myself included)

An now... two, count 'em, TWO new games to suck the money out of unsuspecting cheldren's wallets. Basically a remake (with better graphics) of Pokemon Red/Blue, the Pokemon Leaf Green/Fire Red games will star Ash and Gary and are currently avalible in Japan. (Don't get this game. Trust me. I have the ROM and it sucks. It's a bit nostalgic, but not enough to make me say, "Yes, I want to relive my childhood." Wait... I'm still a child.)

Yeah, I read somewhere that it was just the original games with better graphics and a few other new additions. Thats not enough to make me buy another Pokemon game. If they ever made an online Pokemon, now THAT would be worth while.

Well, it's got wireless capabilities that let you play with four other people. That's sorta close to online. Four people is a lot.

There should be some kind of statute of limitations on remaking games; if it's less than 12 years old, you can not remake it. I mean, I can find the original Pokemon Red at any Gamestop in my area, and let's face it, it's not that different from Pokemon Sapphire.

What they need to make is an online game where its just like the single player, but instead of npcs EVERY character would be played by someone.

From what I've garnered, you have the new moves from RS, and also the Pokemon body abilities.

Unfortunately, it's not even an original Pokemon game; it's Tetris Attack with a paintcoat. And yes, that mode is a bitch. Actually, Tetris Attack isn't an entirely original game either. Before it was Panel de Pon (Japan only =[). Tetris Attack is just Panel de Pon dumbed down (trust me, Panel de Pon is HARD!!) and with characters from Super Mario World 2 (the orignal had Lip and a bunch of other girls. =0). So superbus, you're still right, but I just wanted to point out that Tetris Attack came from Panel de Pon (I love showing off my video game knowledge whenever I can. ;])...

You know, I completely forgot about Panel de Pon. And to think I'm the one creating a classic video game site...

Combos? Like what? I'm only in Pewter City so I wouldn't know. since almost every pokemon can learn mimic, substitute, and some other moves, that can possibly make different pokemon do different things.

Panel de Pon is just about as easy as Tetris Attack. There really aren't many differences between them skill wise.

Panel de Pon is just about as easy as Tetris Attack. There really aren't many differences between them skill wise. o_o;; For the gameplay... yeah, they're exactly the same... but I was talking more about computer AI. In Tetris Attack, the CPU opponents aren't that bad... but in Panel de Pon... eek! Also, Panel de Pon doesn't have a password system like Tetris Attack, so it makes it harder in that sense too...
