Mewtwo is good for one on one, but has more trouble in multi person melee.

I only use Roy... I know Marth is better in SSBM(only heh) I just cant seem to use anyone else but Roy =P. Main strategy is to spam down tilt, foward aerial, and wave dashing foward smashers.
Gotta love Roy his reach/arc, and priority are almost unmatched.

Sorry but Jigglypuff and Bowser have nearly everyone beaten in priority. Jigglypuff's moves can beat near anyone in priority except Bowser and Bowser can be used if you get good with his L-Cancel game.
I know I can send Roy to hell and back even a good aerial attack abusing Roy with Jigglypuff but Marth is a different story.

Well that would be, but I can always C-cancel Jigglypuff, then reverse Blazer and KO Jigglypuff at 5% =P. Roy's Foward aerial can outrange, and intercept almost every aerial attack in SSBM except Marth's foward aerial. As for Bowser I can wavedash into a Counter to play some mind games, and also down tilt, Up smash since he is so big it is quite easy to combo him.
Although Jigglypuff has a fearsome up throw Rest combo....Works well on fast fallers like Roy.

No good Jiggs player will let a Roy do that to them. In any case, Jiggs can perform the Wall of Pain quite easily on Roy. And he doesn't do well in the air...
Sheik, Zelda and C.Falcon are big contenders to match against Marth's fair. Sheik fair, being her most used KO move in Tourney play, and the devastating power of Zelda/Falcon's Lightning attacks.
Up throw + Rest doesn't work for the majority of characters, because of the easy possibility of DI and a neutral A to protect against it. It DOES, however, murder the Space Animals.
Oh and my best and favourite characters are:
-Fox -Marth
A side note: The Diskun trophy is the one where you get all bonuses in the game. The reason it's so hard to get is the bonus of No-Damage Clear on 1 Player. It is NOT fun doing a simple mistake such as charging a Smash Attack a little too long only to have the CPU randomly spam a neutral A, or some Bom-omb materialise just above you while you are attacking...
Hate it...although I got it with Pikachu..

I don't see what all of you mean by these pre-decided combos, because I simply dodge moves, and attack whenever I'm not dodging; this is great as Marth, because he can flow instantly from one enemy to the next with no pause in the blows. Link, is harder for this, but his strength offsets his slowness by knocking enemies farther. We should have a tourney...

There are multiple tournaments if you go to smashboards.com up for you enter. And I seriously disagree about Marth being best at flowing into his moves that title belongs to Sheik and Sheik alone. And I know about the up throw rest but its sorta limited in its use so I dont' really use it I just go for raw aerial back kick spamming. Although Pound is the loviest thing ever you won't believe how many people tried to edgeguard me onyl to find them getting overpowered by a direct pound.

It's not very hard it you're skilled enough with Roy. All you have to do is crouch cancel, and or down air l canceled. Then Jigglypuff is as good as gone. It's not like the Warlock punch, Blazer comes out at pretty fast speeds.
Up throw Rest works well on Fast fallers like I said, Fox is an easy target for it. Jiggly will own Fox anyday, as Jigglypuff can just easily juggle Fox till the cows come home.

Actually Fox, Falco, Capt. Falcon, Roy, Link, DK, Bowser. Especially easy on Boswer/DK due to the big size.

DK, Bowser, Link and Roy can recover far too quickly to be hit by that.......well at least from my experience they can.....but you usually need computer style DI and reflexes to do so.

Yes, I play as Link, and I doubt you could throw me up and hit me as I came down even if I was blindfolded. It's just not smart to come straight down, so I never do it. (No offense to anyone's abilities)
