Well I didn't test it fully on Link, but in the case of Falco,or Fox recovering from Jigglypuff's up throw before the rest comes, is pretty much impossible. It's why Jiggs is a counter character for Fox. That was all I was mentioning.

Yeah. Doesn't work on Link. His nair has WAY too much priority...
Meh, I love Seti's tactic more. Stay in the air and spam the back kick. Throw in a couple of nair and fairs to keep the opponent on their toes.

Jigglypuff has insane aerial juggling ability, since float canceling is more effective than l-canceling. Spam some Pound's as well.

I tend to only use Pound sparingly, it becomes very predictable very quickly but when you use it sparingly it becomes a even better recovery move than Bowser's Whirling Fortress.
You can't edgeguard Pound very well since even Marth's forward smash is pretty much on even terms with it in priority maybe a bit less. Also even if you don't feel like Pounding you can just gain some height and Pound your way across the whole level staying out of reach of anyone cept Pika and making Peach Bombers obsolete.

Jigglypuff simply has the best recovery in all of SSBM. You cant edge guard Jigglypuff at all and, Jigglypuff is one of the only characters who can make it from one side of Hyrule Temple to the other using Pound recovery. Boswers side recovery is alright I guess, but his vertical recovery is just lacking. Probably the worst in the game, actually.
Ganondorf, C. Falcon, and Falco are probably amoung the easiest edge guarding targets.

You'll be surprised hwo hard it is to edgeguard a good Bowser he just outprioritizes you too much.
Jiggly is just a master of everythign aerial.

Yeah that makes up for the fact that Jiggly is the second easiest character to star KO. Actually due to Pichu having more falling speed, Jiggs might be the easiest...
Well yeah Bowser fortress has some good priority and can stop alot of edge guards, except for the Sword users as they have disjointed hitboxs, meaning they will exceed Bowsers priority with their Swords. Marth can annoyingly edge guard you with his down tilt, and Foward smash, Roy can charge up Flare Blade, and use his Foward smash, and Link has his B up.
It is pretty easy to edge guard Bowser if you have some reach.

Sword users are generally evil edgeguards....but its possible to beat sword users with Bowser I saw it being done in nice fashion at a tournament who beat a Roy user with Bowser.

People opt towards using a Tipper Smash with Marth, or using Dragon Slayer (if you have the NTSC version) to edgeguard. PAL people like myself have a Dragon Slayer that is a Meteor ...Poses a bit of a problem to those who have fast fingers and a good recovery move...

Another one....Falco's aerial down A Spike is only a Meteor and not a spike in the PAL version. It can be meteor jumped.
Samus lost her special grapple beam.
Mewtwo and also Marth are lighter in the PAL version

I don't know what all these edge gaurd things are but my best cahracter is Young Link, Roy or Yoshi. The good thing about Yoshi and a terrain-less stage is his egg roll out attack. My favorite thing about Roy is that he has the explosion that damages him too and he yells out "Sonia!" (I don't know why) and the cool thing about Young Link is that he can wall jump (took me forever to master in target test).

Egg Roll is not a good move. You will get a Smash Attack or someone will grab you every time. You're better off using SH nair and fairs. CC and down tilt is great with Yoshi.
Yeah, Flare Blade is cool to see, but other than that...no human player is going to walk into a fully charged one...unless they're daring enough to use Counter against it...
Many characters can wall jump:
-Mario -Peach* -C.Falcon -Falco -Fox -Samus -Y.Link -Pichu
*Peach can psuedo-wall jump using her Peach Bomber on a wall VERY FAST. It takes way to long though...
...why do I get the feeling that I might be missing someone from that list...
