Anyone have tips for Recoloring Sprites? How about tips for Custom Sprites? Thanks for the help!

when i recolour sprites i usually jsut edit their pallet in my animation program

I use MS Paint. What you do is make a custom pallet with dark to light shades of a color, then fill the darkest to lightest color on the sprites.
