How do you do things like hack a rom to get all the soundtracks in the sound test room......things like that....

Simple, hack the save fie by using a hex editor to change some of the values in the file. But becareful tho, you my change something you shouln't have change. You have to know what your doing or else you'll corrupt the sav file.

hmmm not as simple as it sounds.....first of all whats a good hex editor to use? and second of all how do I find out what I should be changing?

1) If you want a hacked save file with all 100 songs I have one (PM if you want, I have all kinds of hacked stuff).
2) Hacking the right addresses is hard and easy to corrupt, so good luck then.

If you just want the soundtracks then zophar domain has some very good guides on how to rip soundtracks out of NES, SNES and PS games.
