I dunno if this is breaking rules about asking for ROMs but does anyone know were I can get a Fire Emblem 6 translation patch.

No, this does not violate the rules.
There is no FE6 patch out yet. However, you can get through most of the game by either using our stickied translation threads in the Sealed Sword board, or by using the one at GameFAQs. I happen to prefer the one we have here.
