Arthur with Holsety (Tiltu marries Levin) is good
but in my games even if i try to I get combinations like
Tiltu + Adan
Tiltu + Claud (not that bad but valkary is useless)
Tiltu + Noishe
Tiltu + Trabant

If I do not like that second-generation character, I would kill off his or her mother character in the first half. I intend to kill off Tailto, not Ira or Beowolf. It is difficult to avoid killing off Ira. To avoid killing off Ira, you must run far away from her until you conquer Genoa. To avoid killing off Beowolf, keep Rackesis far away from him until you have someone else to talk to him, or otherwise one of Rackesis's ballistas will kill him off.

In fact, usually, it's not Beo who's killed, it's Lachesis' cronies, because of Anphony's army near Beo they're charging stupidly, if you put Lachesis too near from Anphony...  |

TF, were you talking to me ?  In that case, I wasn't clear enough...  I wasn't saying I have trouble getting Beo (in fact, I got him really easily in all my three games I played so far.) What I was saying, is that the CPU's allies who are following Lachesis (Eve, Eva and Alva) are the real trouble... If I get Lachesis too near from Anphony, they charge stupidly Anphony's army instead of sitting down and let me settle the things. They don't have the time to kill Beo, cos they're killed before, by the Anphony's army, which is too strong for them. |

Keep the 3 knights alive. Piece of cake. Move lachesis from Noddion to Evans, nothing happans at Evans so the knightds don't die. Once Anphony is captured have lachesis and Diadora use return staffs anf warp staffs for quick level ups. In the second gen the best time to do this is the START of chapter 9 but be quick as Corpul/Sharlow needs a warp staff to level.
Oddly enough I never dordle in my games yet I have no promlems with Tinny its like this:
Chapter 7 doesn't kill any enemies clears the arena. Level 6
Chapter 8 start of chapter arena cleared level 9
Also all those vivilians are about for a reason (though Leen/Laylea and Hannibal get them).
As for Killing off Ayra. Definetly NOT while trying to get Genoa. Fencer, you might not know (probably because you have tried) but You certainly DON'T kill off Ayra for a high speed rank. The fastest you can Capture Genoa (with Sigurd not hitting the bucket) is 6 turns. Going for ayra is a risk Sigurd is as likley to die as Ayra is. Alec is your best choice. I suppose 6 turns is the fastest as I have done it in that and thats the best I can do.
Killing off chatacters kills off 2 of the evaluation ranks. I think Battle techniques (0 def[eat]s on anyone including hitting the reset button), survivability (everyone is alive).

The Nodion three always kill Beo off before I got to him, then usually get themselves killed in the process.
Ironically (for me), the unit I usually send up to recruit him.....is Finn. =P He's like, one of the richest units around (so what if I overuse him?) and he's rather safe from dying. Most of the time. =P

curious as soon i put finn next to laches and a ememy is in range those idoits attack and leave her alone and arya usually the fragile one when sigurid comes around sometimes i just let eithrin hold her off the turn it takes to kill the boss
