I did it in college, so no complaints. =P The script also doesn't flow as well as it could, but I don't have the time to be editing yet. And the reason I finally decided to post it? The ending script for the ROM's not dumped. =P Feel free to kill me for my insolence now. =P EDIT : Oh yeah, Geocities' being a bitch, so please don't tell me you can't access it. I can't, and it's my webspace dammit.

I just finished reading it... Really Summerwolf, I can't tell you how I'm greatful to you ~o~ This is really a great work  I can't stop reading it, and I'm sure I'll read it again often  Okay, there's some little cases which are missing... I like it. While I can't comment on accurate it is, it's still a very good read. I'm sure it'll be fine for the translation.

Actually.......not ALL of them. I'm still very curious about some, but I don't have any more resources and I don't have the time to fulfill all the requirements to access them in-game. ;_; And I'm still too lazy to do the ending narration. =P Or Fuijimori Natsu's manga. I suck. You don't have to do anything in return for this. It's not a favor. I do it because it's FESS, and I care. Feel grateful? Do something to make the FESS a kickass board. Once again. That's all I could ever wanted. |

Indeed we are very lucky to have you around Summerwolf. Wait, are you going to use it for the translation as well? Don't just think about us, think about making it the best translation possible for FE4. Let everyone have the chance to enjoy your work.

The FE4 translation is getting everything I can give it, and a damn sweet time to look things over. Don't worry. Do you think I'm going to do anything less for sake of Lenster? Not a chance. I do FE4 because the game deserves a better translation than it's getting, and I love the damn thing to bits.
I also have a hoard of equally rabid beta readers, who are pretty much grammar/characterization nazis.

There's a reason I say "This is for the FESS". It's because the ending script seems to remain undumped yet as far as I know. Eaichu also agrees with me on that. There's still about 10-20% of the script lurking inside the ROM as of Boo's last update. Or something. Unless the matter resolves itself or we find a hacker, this is how it's gonna be done, unfortunately.
Although, if I ever finish my fanpage, it'll go up there.

Since the Boo's translation is written in Linux, so I cannot offer much help. I have been erractically studied a few hacking documents, I did learn a few basic things. So untill Dec then I can TRY to dump it. (His table are very valuable -> this cost me- a newbie, a lot of time to do relative search). I won't promise that it will yield any results, but give it a try won't harm anything.
Some out of theme question: is FE 6 Swords of seal taken for translation? If not, I am also willing to do...

Theres still the matter of that ending glitch to be sorted out at least. My version even with Eaichu's update still expriences the ending freeze.

Actually, there's more glitches to fix.
The chapter 4 story dialogue that's replaced by Chapter 3 Sigurd - Claude dialogue. Pity.
The 'castle takeover blackouts' in chapter 9.
And so on.
Right now, my job is fixing everything in the script, though, so I'm at a loss as to what to do with those. I guess one of the chapter 9 scripts has been identified as a missing dump, but lord knows about the rest.
I should post a vote of name changes somewhere.
