While screwing around with the Japanese save file for FE7 with the American rom, track 100 is called Royal Palace of Silezha. As I have roots in Silesia(its an eastern German principality in Poland that doesn't exist anymore), I'm quite appalled.

Just HOW does a name of an old German provence piss off Germany. It being mistranslated will probably piss them off more.
Also what would piss Germany off more is the end of fe4. The 12 Dark Lords being German numbers and the Loptuosu side/Loptuosu blood symbol (its the Eagles of the reich). Implying that Germans are evil.

I think anyone who actually interprets that as saying Germans are evil needs to get the stick out of their ass and lighten up. I'm largely of German ancestry and I don't find it offensive. It's just story-telling.
I'd elaborate on that, but I have an exam in half an hour. -_-;;

Actually I said they change the name to avoid pissing off Germany because some people/nations are rather sensitive and putting real world names could backfire sometimes.

Well, it was in the Japanese version too, right? Probably a little bonus for those who've played earlier games. That's just one of the few that hasn't been renamed, like the Dancer Fight music.
