I heard there were replacements for characters that you didn't get because the female from the past did not fall in love with someone;can anyone possibly shed some info about this for me?
I haven't tested this yet since I've only gone through FE4 once,and I managed to get all possible characters.

In general they're worse than the 'normal' characters. They do get special convos and stuff which the normal ones don't, though. I thought I had a page with all their pictures, but it seems I never uploaded it, and I recently deleted it from my comp. Ah well. Someone remind me to change those pictures with the new ones I just got after I move Sigurd's Pants. I've been wanting to change them for awhile but didn't have the time.

I don't know how you got those pictures, but they're... bad. All dithered and stuff. They even look a bit like they've been put through a filter :/

most of the replacements arent as good if the father is good. However:
Tristan (maxes out HP, critical ability), Linda(Elite), the dancer(fast), faval's (archer, high attack) replacement, and amid (use elwind before level up. only male mage fighter) to an extent are still very good. Femina (P.Knight) is passable but has no skills and no weapons, low stats and attack (but does fly, and fliers in fe4 are GOOD).

If Femina's flight ability was something Fee didn't have, it might have been worth mentioning :/
Radney becomes a Forrest instead of a Sword Master (I think)... too bad that doesn't really make much of a difference.
Faval's replacement is Asaello. The dancer is Laylea.

The replacements still pale in comparison to the kids but it's a nice challenge for whinners who think the game's easy. This game offer some many variety it's not possible to get bored.
