It's upper-cases turn. Just play it out, see who wins, seems like a tie game to me. K=king P=pawn R=rook I think this is a decent chess bord, 8*8, and 0 is obviously open.

I think it's possible to win with a rook and a king. Just force the enemy king into a corner.

No not true Shoen, you need two pawns. Will some one play the game it's easy, just copy paste. Look the king moved, now somebody else move lower-case.

I propose a different board. It's easier to see the pieces. By the way, I moved my rook. Now it's upper case's trun. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - k - - - - - - - - - P - - - r - - - - K - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Probably a bad move, but eh...

Moved rook. If I knew anything about chess, I would list the coordinates, but seeing as how I don't...

Whee chess. Anyway, lower-case has this game completely won. For example: - - - - - - - - - - - - - r - - - - - - - - - k - - - - - - - - - P K - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
- - - - - - - - - r - - - - - - - - - - - - - k - - - - - - - - - P K - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
Now, in order to save his pawn (and his only chance at not loisng), upper-case must attack the Rook with his King, or else lower-case's King will come down and attack the pawn with the Rook and kill it. But then, all the Rook has to do is move! The Pawn cannot get past the Rook on its own, so it's only a matter of time before lower-case's King gets down there and kills the Pawn. Then, lower-case can easily checkmate upper-case.
